Schönes und gemütliches Restaurant. Freundliches Personal. Zu empfehlen.
Super Essen, super Location.
I have eaten here multiple times! If this place had fair food, it would still get at least 4 stars simply because of how far it is from other restaurants. The Staff is friendly. Good atmosphere! The food was very good! The food was very fresh! The portion of ribs seemed a little small, but that may have been because I liked it and wanted more! The cheesecake is awesome! I personally have never had a bad experience here! ????????
The fried chicken was good! Good batter!
The portion size was good, except for the chicken leg and wing, unbelievable small! Looked like they came from the hot wings bag! ????♂️????♂️ other than that, great! ????????
Stumbled upon this place while driving back to Kona. Nice homely restaurant that looks to be frequented equally by local residents and tourists. Surprisingly extensive menu choices and the food was piping hot and tasty. Tried out their coffee cheesecake and lava cake and both were fantastic. Extremely friendly and quick service. Wide choice for adults and kids. Definitely worth a stop if looking for a filling, tasty meal in a casual setting. I had the Ono fish and chips and definitely the best fish and chips I’ve had to date.
We liked our stop here after a long day at Volcanoes National Park. It is right off the highway and the parking lot is amply sized. The beers, drinks and food are reasonably priced ($18 for an entree). We enjoyed the excellent calamari rings (hot and fresh), wahoo sandwich (large portion) and the fish and chips (delicious fish; fries were not very fresh, tasty tarter sauce). Beers were ice cold and the place was pretty lively (music was finishing up). The lava cake for dessert was warm and served with ice cream. Check the hours as many places around here close quite early.
After a long day hiking back and forth at the Green Sand beach, we stopped at Kai Loki’s for a late lunch, just after 2:30pm.
My husband and I both had the Ono Fish and Chips. SO, SO delicious!! Such a GENEROUS portion too, and such a great price!!
So glad we made the stop!
We came in for lunch on our way to the green sand beach. All 7 of us ranging in age from 4 years old to 60 enjoyed our meals. I ordered a double burger with blue cheese crumbles and side salad. It was delicious!
Fun atmosphere and friendly wait staff.
Almost drove past this little gem of a place. From the outside it doesn't look like much but when you walk in it is surprising how open it is. They had a paint and sip in the far part of the restaurant and in the middle of it all was the bar with lots of seating space. If you like to sit outside there are plenty of tables to get an overlook of the ocean far below. The waiter we had was so good I was convinced he owned the place. On top of his game. It had a nice bar and grill menu with large portions. Cost was about 15-20$ per dish but don't skip out on the sides or beer.
