I got a regular dip manicure by Kenny for $42. When I finished my appointment three weeks ago, I wasn’t sure what to think. My appointment was not relaxing at all, and I thought it lacked as there was no treatment on the mail/cuticle. I was a bit bummed as I like to get my nails done to relax and feel pampered.
However, it’s been weeks and this manicure hasn’t chipped or lifted one bit. That is unheard of for me!
If you need a long lasting dip that looks pretty good and even, don’t hesitate to go here. Will be going back, but will definitely pay extra to feel more pampered with treatment/massage.
Whether I need a red stiletto or a square nude- Kenny’s got me every time. What I live about this place is the service matches what I request- I get what I pay for and the service from Kenny is great. I’ve been going to him for over 4 years and I will keep going back.
K-1 Nails does a wonderful job! They are all very kind and make it a priority to do their best work! I would highly recommend this salon to all my friends and family!!
I haven't had my nails done in almost 10 years so I compared a lot of places before choosing K1 Nails based on their reviews and photos. I went in as a walk in, but they were super busy so they set me up with an appointment for later the same day. I only waited maybe five minutes when I returned and showed Tina what I wanted to do to my nails. They turned out exactly how the inspo picture looked. She did such a great job. I know now to make an appointment in the future and I'm excited to go again.
My nail tech is no longer working at the place I used to go and I’ve not had long lasting nails with anyone else there. They’ve also not looked very good. Tonight I broke a nail and decided to come here to get it fixed and have a rebase done even though it’s only been 1 1/2 weeks since my last one.
Jenny stayed a little late to get me in and did a very nice job. They great and the price was less than I usually pay. We will see how long before they lift, although the acrylic is pretty old and chips off the tip easily. Next time I come back I’ll have her do a new set. She was very quiet but that’s fine as I don’t always feel chatty.
This is also the cleanest, least dusty nail salon I’ve been to. I didn’t see any dust other than what she produced while filing my nails, and this is at the very end of the day! With such care for the space they are in I can’t imagine anyone here shows any less care for customers. Will be back for sure. Nice little gem hidden in the corner. Glad I decided to come by!
Brian cut my finger and when I asked him to be more careful he sighed and said “I cut your finger? Are you sure it was me?!” He also broke 2 of my nails short. After he rushed and only did a 2 coat dip, there was still the old red polish all over my hands and he acted very inconvenienced when I asked him to take it off. Unfortunately, this was the worst manicure I’ve ever had in terms of quality and rudeness. Normally I go to Epic Nails in Windsor but I didn’t want to drive so far today- big mistake- next time I’ll do it and skip K-1 Nails. Terrible!
K1 is the best place in town. Fun and inviting atmosphere, knowledgeable techs, and clean! I personally see Jenny everytime. I appreciate that she takes her time and takes pride in her work. She also is pleasant to carry a conversation with. My sister and I have been coming to K1 for a while now and she has had her nails done by just about everyone else in there. Never any complaints. If you're looking for a new go-to place, K1 is the place!
So I came in Thursday night for a full set mind you i called around and asked how much they would be every one was saying $60 they’re simple yet cute. I feel so used and taken advantage off !! They are medium long and by the time they finished they said 82 . I was in complete shock !! They charged us 50 for the set then a extra $20 for “extra length “ and then $12 for “extra service “ but yet I didn’t get a extra service all I got was a full set. My boyfriend paid while I was washing my hands because i had acrylic and everything else on my skin !!! I tried to go back in to see why they charged extra but my boyfriend didn’t want to cause a seen !!! I’m very disappointed not only that I saw a girl walk out this the same nails but didn’t colors they charged her only 45 !!! Very disappointed
