Good place for a man to get a haircut. Although barber did miss a spot on the back of my head. Just had to cut it.

I love this place...an old time barber shop, filled with congeniality, fine service, great prices and an old fashion touch. They used hot shaving cream and used a straight razor on the back of my neck just as a part of their regular service without calling and charging it as an up service. They gave me a perfect haircut and I was impressed in their safety standards during the times (Pandemic) we’re living in. If you’re looking for a skilled, fine, old time barber shop, you won’t go wrong with John’s.

Found this barbershop on Google while driving from Asheville (NC) over to Waynesville, NC and decided to get my haircut there after reading their reviews.

Adam (Scissor Hands) was actually working and got me in his chair after finishing up two customers in front of me.

After showing him a couple pics of the way I keep my hair styled, I got a “No Problem” from him and both hands got to shaping my head back to factory settings.

I recommend Adam @ John Barber Shop and his services along with his fair pricing with ample parking outside.

My son has been going here ever since he could walk and he will not let anyone but Adam cut his hair. The shop is clean, everyone is polite and great price. When they are good with kids, it makes a lot of difference.

Great little down home barber shop. Exceptional service and very affordable prices. The little barber shop where the locals sit to talk and Andy Griffith is always playing on the television. You can take your children here for haircut without the worry of profanity being used or violence and sex being displayed on the television. You can always get the haircut you want with some good conversation at a price that anyone could afford. I wish it were possible for me to give them more than five stars. Please never change a thing!!! Great Job Guys!!!!
