Awesome cafe and made very welcome.
A great little place where they go that extra mile for their customers.
Even have time for a friendly chat as the phone never stops ringing
I even spoiled myself with the lovely vanilla slices sourced locally, which I saved until later in the evening ????
Definitely on my top list next time I’m in the area ????
Highly Recommended ????
Great traditional cafe. Amazing breakfast, fast and friendly staff. Great value. 5☆☆☆☆☆
Went here today after checking out of our hotel. They didn't serve breakfast until 10am so was given the heads up that this cafe was open so we headed there and what a find it was. 4 beautifully cooked breakfasts were swiftly served with a smile by friendly staff. Lovely view's from the winds too. A gem of a find which we will most certainly visit again when we're back in the area. xx
Absolutely disgusted in this cafe.
I asked politely if I could sit with my 2 year old while she ate as my car was in the garage.
They said yes... however the owner marched outside with a obnoxious manner and told me to leave. Not the first time this man has been rude to people. Apparently it doesn’t look good on his cafe... what doesn’t look good on his cafe is being rude to people!
A nice little Cafe with a competitively priced and reasonably wide menu.
Service was a bit slow, as was the table clearing, but it was a Friday lunchtime so very busy. The Cafe would benefit from employing an additional part timer for a couple of hours over the midday rush period however.
The decor is quite dated and could do with a makeover - and some thought made about introducing some basic time saving procedures, which would improve the overall service standards.
Simple things like using teapots instead of making up each individual cup/mug - and using a coffee machine.
The food is objectively best described as more than adequate for the price, but could still be improved cheaply and easily. As an example, why sell a plain bacon roll for £2.50 when you could sell a BLT for £3.00 which would make a nicer roll and increase their profits. A win/win if you ask me. The side salad (garnish) could use a bit of imagination too by just adding a splash of colour from sliced peppers, jalapeños and/or cucumber with a splash of olive oil.
Would we go back? Yes, but would probably avoid lunch time.
Dog friendly.
Visited with friends today ( Sunday)
I was on mobility scooter, and had the dog.
Large car park, very accessible ramp to get up to the cafe, nice outdoor area, we sat inside.Very clean.
Had a very reasonably priced breakfast, hot drinks and tray bake.
Didn't seem to be toilets but might be wrong about that.
Highly recommended, looking forward to visiting again very soon.
Brilliantly dementia-friendly cafe! The staff really understand the difficulties of going out with somebody with additional needs and are always helpful and attentive, with no judgement or funny looks. We visit regularly with my father-in-law and it’s a true lifeline.
ordered 2 breakfasts and 2 lattes. The lattes were powdered from a tin and not mixed well and the breakfast contained cremated fried bread and really fatty bacon. Eggs over cooked and burnt toast. Presentation was poor to. Sorry but won't be returning in a hurry. Oh and get a coffee machine!!
