Walked in from the overcrowded Christmas market and was ushered into the vault back room which immediately felt like a tucked away nook at a music club. The music was excellent the stout was smooth. At time of review was a Christmas menu.
The cauliflower starter was AMAZING. The brisket and Turkey were smoked to perfection. Even the hot dog was legit.
Very happy with the food. It was unexpected and worth a go if you want some real BBQ and have an appetite.
Was absolutely fabulous. Customer service was second to none and the drinks delicious. Defo be back
Had such a good experience we visited two days in a row. Service was top notch and staff were very helpful all round. Tables and toilets were clean and well presented. The music is spot on and the whole place has a great vibe. Food was incredible, plenty of awesome choices for vegans and meat eaters. We managed to find a table with ease on a Saturday and there was also outdoor seating available. The only thing with room for improvement is the website for table service as it didn’t show the full menu available, however this was easily solved by ordering at the bar with welcoming staff.
Cheeseburger was really tasty, nice char and mix of flavours, although the mustard did slightly overpower by the end.
Chips were disappointing though as most were over done and too heavily salted.
Atmosphere and service was great though.
Located 2 min from the Minster of York. We went there for the Sunday Roast! Absolutely delicious and very friendly people working there. Worth a visit when in York.
Wow...this place is amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful, Anna was the best from when we booked a table to when we went for tea later on. She pointed us to some great bars and really looked after us. Andrew was also so attentive and a great laugh. These guys really helped make our weekend in York special. On top if that, Anna recommended some of the best food we had in ages! The beer and food here is so good and very fairly priced considering how much you get...we were stuffed! Thank you guys for a great time!
Great little pub in the center of york.food was excellent,beer great and the staff were very pleasant and professional.loved the small beer garden at the back.will go again next time in York
We visited for bottomless brunch for the first time this weekend and were really impressed. The food was fab (two of the group had the cheeseburger which was huge and very tasty, two of us had the chicken and waffles which initially looked a bit small but in fact was really lovely and just enough!) and the service was great, very attentive and made sure we always had a drink. We will definitely be going back.
