I absolutely ???? this place! My nails are perfect! When they get done there's no big hump like alot of other nail salons leave. They always greet you upon entering & thank you upon leaving. They are very courteous & thorough. I ALWAYS get a pedicure so I can also get the free back massage & my nails trimmed. The hot wax helps to relieve stress & relaxes the muscles in my calves. My feet come out as soft as a baby's bottom!
I absolutely love Jen Nails. I have been coming here for about a year now and I have loved every set they have done for me. Today I had a special occasion I needed nails done for and I brought a picture in for Nikki, and she did a fabulous job! I have such a high respect for Jen and her staff because they are true artists.
So disappointed in the service we received. A complete no chip pedicure took 26 minutes from starting to fill the bowl to our shoes being back on. It felt completely rushed! Asked what color I wanted and that was it for conversation. No hello, thank you. Nothing was done to the bottom of my feet except on swoosh of a purple sponge, and they definitely needed it. The tech completely forgot to put lotion on my left foot since she kept it under the light. For $52 I’d rather go somewhere that appreciates the customers and takes their time. So much for a relaxing mom and daughter hour together. We could have done better ourselves at home but was looking forward to relaxing a bit after some chaos in our lives.
Very dirty and chaotic. If you looking for a relaxing calm place to get your nails done, This is not it . Kids walking around as well as two dogs that are owned by a worker . Tables were dirty and so were the tools used . Left dead skin around my nails . Didn’t even put any lotion on my hands or warm towel after like everywhere else I’ve ever gone too. Definitely will not be coming back or recommending.
Such a great place to get your nails done in town! I always go to Maven and I feel like he does a very good job and is very meticulous with his craft and is so easy to talk to. I even trusted him to do my wedding nails!
Only thing I would comment on is the cleanliness. There are several paint splatters on the walls from nail polish and I saw a few clipped nails on the floor where I was getting my manicure done.
Overall, I will come back for sure! And the dogs are an added bonus! :)
Jen does an ok job, unfortunately she lets her ego get in the way. She is not open to suggestions and easily gets offended when you try and tell her how you would like your nails done. That is not a good way to treat paying customers.
She also doesn't treat her clients equally. She likes to show off that she knows her regular clients by name while ignoring a client sitting right in front of her. I drove an hour (one-way x 2 = 2 hours roundtrip) to have her do my nails because I am familiar with her work (I no longer live in the area) and I didn't want to try someone new. She was rude and never spoke one word to me. She should treat all customers equally... first time clients, long-term clients and everything in-between.
I have never felt so disrespected at a salon before. I had been going to Jen Nails regularly since October, and this isn't the first time at Jen Nails that I have been treated rudely. I wouldn't have gone back, but my husband got me a gift card for Christmas before I could tell him I didn't want to go there again. I had an appointment for first thing in the morning. I got there right on time and didn't wait long before I was given a station. A tech came over and gave me a cursory book of colors to look through, not the big basket. Jen did suggest a color from my interest, but I really felt rushed. After starting my appointment, the tech abruptly told me to move stations, and her regular appointment was there! I waited 20 minutes for Jen to complete her appointment before she could come finish mine! She told me they were short staffed, but why was I the one that was booted out of my appointment?? I have had similar issues twice now. I was given more colors to look through, but honestly, I was so upset by this time that I couldn't even pick other colors. Jen finished my nails and then walked away with half-hearted apologies. To add another insult to this issue, they overcharged me for the service. I didn't argue because I won't be going back.
Really nice people and they do a great job! I get my nails done by Jen and Kaitlyn. They are amazing! And Jen knows me by name. She’s so sweet and always is welcoming!
