I will not shop here again. On what will be my last visit, a worker followed me and stood at the end of an every aisle i was in watching me browse products WITHOUT even offering assistance. I am a regular patron but this was a very disgusting treatment & shopping experience for the black shoppers who make up their target population.
Dear Black Brothers and Sisters,
Stop shopping here. They do not appreciate nor respect our black dollars. The store closes at 8 pm. I had 10 mins left to before the shop I asked about a wig he yells, “no we are closed.” I was already in the store and made a purchase. I was not looking to browse through wigs I asked for a specific one.
Other black women were shopping he continues to yell. We are the only ones keeping this business afloat. Until they appreciate and understand our buying power stop shopping here!
I like this beauty supply....they usually always have what I'm looking for. The prices are reasonable and the people are nice.
Looks small but it's actually pretty big in there with LOTS of everything!! There were two helpful attendants on the floor and a cashier - not just one or two people that always seem to be busy or BOTHERED like other places. They were cheerful, polite, and helpful. Prices were fine and like I said they had everything! Will go out of my way to come here again.
I usually don't have a favorite beauty supply because I've been a licensed Master Cosmetologist over a decade, lol...but this store is one of my faves. I visit 3 to 4 times a week picking up items for my clients. They are conveniently located off Cobb Pkwy which is another plus for a mobile stylist like myself. Smooches????????❤
Nice clean and a helpful staff. I went in the other day and I see they've increased their inventory, so now they have a few more products that they didn't usually carry so happy about that because this place is closer to home and it's in a plaza with so many other stores so I can get all my shopping done in one location. Let me also make mention that if you like wigs they have a decent wig selection, however their wigs are a little bit more pricier that what I've seen in other locations.
For roughly 10 yrs. I've been shopping at Joy Beauty Supply. They always have everything that I'm looking for, they have a very clean store, fully stocked, and have very reasonable prices. They are always my 1st choice when going to a bss. They are very nice and always helpful.????
Older lady charged me $21+ for Shea Moisture Strength & Restore Treatment Masque that was priced $14.99. This price was validated by the man stocking the shelves. However, this female insisted it was $21+ and refused to acknowledge the advertised price. This stuff is no more than $13.99 on average. Check the listed price with what you were charged and know the average price of your purchase! Or simply, DON’T SHOP HERE! I returned the product and purchases elsewhere at $ 11.99! I suggest to go around the corner on Cumberland to Elite Beauty Supply. It’s large; has everything and the people there are very nice and helpful.
