Good English breakfast, solid granola and yogurt bowl. Coffee is good can’t complain.
Good outdoor area. Some of the sweets and cakes look better than they taste but let’s be honest you go here to inject your veins with caffeine not sugar.

Delicious pastries and cakes. So many options and have never been disappointed. Friendly staff. Welcoming atmosphere.
Small café. Really good. The atmosphere and service are friendly and cozy. Has lot of vegan and vegetarian options. Loved the vegan options. Quite a few cake. But the sourdough we ordered was spoilt. There was fungus on it. The staff took it away immediately and changed it. But we left the place without finishing our breakfast. Did not expect it to serve spoilt food.
Lovely little coffee shop with a great selection of cakes, pastries and food. Also a lot to choose from in the drinks selection as well, the choices all round put Costa and other chains to absolute shame.
Wifi available, relaxing music, decent indoor and outdoor seating and toilet facilities means you have everything you need here for a relaxing coffee and cake session!
I had the Orange and blueberry cake, it was absolutely gorgeous; really light sponge and packed with flavour. Loved it!
Based on my experience I think you would be crazy not to give this place a try!
Went for coffee with a friend and Java had a brilliant selection of traditional Bulgarian pastries alongside their cake offerings that make this a nice change from something I'd usually order. I tried the olive and feta pastry parcel (pictured bottom left) which was heated and tasted great. Staff were friendly and kindly brought our food out to us.
Amazing find - everything is handmade and so different to what all the chains offer. Had a delicious boiled pastry slice with cheese and herbs, and an apricot and pecan twist. Such a nice change. Coffee was great too.
Will be our go-to whenever we come to Abingdon.
Fab coffee, cake and light bites all served with a smile. Very friendly and warm place to go on a cold rainy day.
It's very popular and there is limited seating inside so try and stay ahead of the crowds.
But a must if you're in Abingdon.
Awful awful service, truly don't bother, carry on walking pass and perhaps try somewhere else. They seem to have a problem with people of colour, we turned up on sunday for food and coffee and tbh if you are a person of colour you will perhaps understand what i mean, the atmosphere changed, staff were cold and unfriendly. Truthfully we should have left.
