I used to come to this salon years ago never had a problem. I went recently to curl my hair first off this salon desperately needs renovations! Looks dirty. The lady that washes hair was the one that did my curls she doesn’t style hair! She repeatedly told the owner’s husband to call the owner who lives upstairs to come down and do my hair because the lady wasn’t confident to do it because she knows she doesn’t do a good job for some reason she didn’t want to come down stairs if I’m paying for services I should get it done right the husband says to the lady ( in Spanish) just turn her away from the mirror so she doesn’t see her hair and if she doesn’t like it we can do it over again that’s so unacceptable I speak Spanish and I understood everything he was saying I’m 8 months pregnant and don’t have time to argue and I was in a rush because I was doing a photo shoot by the time I got home I had no curls it just looked like waves and I had to do my hair all over again and I did a better job not to mention they don’t use salon quality shampoo or conditioner drug addicted people come in trying to sell products and they allow it I felt so uncomfortable when the owner didn’t want to buy and the man got mad I seriously thought I fight was about to start I will never again come here not worth it! Her Instagram is also a lie makes it seem like she has a lot of clients but it’s always dead the man is was way to rough with my hair when he blow dried it get rid of him he’s the problem super lazy!
I go to this place to get my hair colored highlights, cut to layers, and do my eyebrows. All together was 310$. First off, way too expensive, and my hair did not look like the picture I showed them (showed them 5 times.) My hair came out WAY too light. While they (this big lady and the only guy that worked there) began to bleach my hair, they were EXTREMELY rough with putting products on my hair. The lady basically was shoving my head down putting bleach, I kept being switched from the lady to the guy. The guy was putting toner for my highlights was banging on my head with it, honestly felt like i was gonna get a concussion. Customers were even looking at us and saw how rough he was going. Guy even washed my hair with ic cold water, didnt even bother warming it up for me the 3 times he washed my hair. As we were done washing my hair, the guy proceeded to blow dry my hair. I told him multiple times to stop digging in my scale cuz he was burning me and my scale was already hurting already with all the pounding with the toner. When he was done blow drying my hair, i was about to just leave, pay for my service and that's it but the lady insisted to curling my hair without the extra cost. Im pretty sure she and everyone else who worked there saw how pissed i was throughtout my whole experience. When she was curling my hair, i saw so many spilt ends, and mind you i haven't blow dried/ curled/ straighten/ done anything to my hair for 2 years, i never saw any spilt ends on my hair, it was always healthy until i got my hair done here. They treated their friends that come there with respect but as i came, since im a new customer, they basically acted like i didn't exist for the 5 hours i was there. I give it two stars cuz even thou it was lighter than i expected and you couldnt see the highlights i wanted, i kinda liked it. Idk i guess i have to cuz im stuck with it for a while. Ill put pictures of before and after my hair, and the pic i showed them so you guys can be the judge. Im not sure to come back for a touch up or to change it back to normal. Owner is really nice & did my hair good the first time when she fixed one row that was done at another salon. She charged me $80 for wash, haircut, one row and curls. This time I decided to give her a try for my full head and I'm highly dissatisfied. She only did 4 rows and charged me $250 without washing or styling. I need another row to blend my hair more and I called but the guy who answered said she's going to have to charge me like $60-$130 to add more hair. Safe to say I'll never be returning again. Downside is that she ONLY takes cash; had to use an atm.
Carolina did my hair she was sweet and attentive I just had to ask her to detangle my hair with a bigger comb then the smaller one because I’m natural other than that everything else was cool everyone was pleasant
The owner here makes you pay cash so she doesn't have to report it nor you have proof of services. Her husband burns your scalp and that's supposed to be okay? These people will definitely be reported. She overpriced for that go to a real salon where they have their licenses in order. They happen to touch the wrong person's head because I have time I will be reporting each one down to the buck tooth shampoo girl.
I'm so in love with this salon. Jasmine is amazing especially when it comes to my hair texture. I can't just go to any salon so if you have thick curly hair like me, I highly recommend going here. She knows exactly what she's doing.
I loved this salon, until they put up a video of me getting a private wax. This was without my permission and I am very insulted and feel like my privacy has been violated. Beware. They do, do hair great and customer service is friendly and make up service was excellent. But now I am paranoid that they will post me again when I don't want them too. I had no problem posing after make up and hair was done for pictures. However I didn't want them to post me getting waxed. ???? I am very disappointed, I really wanted to be a returning customer.
Very good color service, no damage on naturally curly 3c/4a hair, patient willing to mix colors until desired result is achieved. Willing to do hair natural or straight. Trims ends well. Great customer service reasonable prices. Great makeup and eyebrow service too good coffee. Make you feel like you are familia.
