Chelsey always does an amazing job touching up my roots. I will never go to a.ylne else! I would give her a million stars if I could. Perfection!
My son and I have been going to Chelsey since I first met her in 2018 when she was in Beatrice. She’s not only an amazing beautician, but an amazing person as well! She’s also GREAT with kids, listens intently, and delivers exactly what you ask for. I have followed Chelsey to Hype Salon and was impressed with the clean, friendly, yet professional and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend them both!
I've been here many times and Chelsey does amazing work! The amount of compliments I receive on the color she does on my hair, every time I'm in there, is proof enough what a great job she does. She's great at what she does and has a pretty great personality too. Love her! Check her and this salon out.
Austin is absolutely AMAZING. I've been going to him for a while and my hair has turned out perfect every time, no matter what I ask him to do! He's so much fun and actually cares about the health of my hair. If you're looking for consistency and talent, he's the one!
I came in today for a trim. aerial cut my hair I told her I didn’t want the sides cut and that my hair is very fine and thin and to be careful not to cut it to much. She was doing great until she got the clippers out. She gouged the hair around my ears and cut the sides in doing so. I will not go back since I wasted my money and now have gouges that will be impossible to hide. She should have told me she gouged it and charged mw accordingly like maybe not have charges me. My husband noticed it right away

I called to schedule an appointment to get a color done. I had previously been getting heavy highlights and they had grown out quite a bit thanks to COVID. I was very surprised to get in that same day, I am very grateful that they got me in that day however the service i received was pretty awful. I asked for honey blonde or a little darker blonde that blended into my natural roots so that when my hair grew out it wouldn't look terrible. I made absolutely sure to tell the lady I did not want a solid color on my hair, i wanted it to have dimension. She sounded like she knew what she was doing when she explained what she was going to do. Instead of having a darker blonde blended into my roots she slapped the darkest blonde/lightest brown on my hair. At this point i figured it was part of the process, i'm not a hairstylist so i don't know how it all works. As she was washing the color out she made sure to mention to the other lady working that she needed to be gone shortly after 4. Mind you I didn't even get there until 2:45. After washing everything out she took me back to the chair and cut my hair without even asking what i wanted then i swear to you she blow dried my hair and used her FINGERS!! No brush, no comb, there was nothing used to help smooth my hair and make it look nice. When she got done halfway drying my hair she asked what i thought. I told her i wanted it brushed so she goes to the next station and borrowed a brush from the hairstylist next to her, who was round brushing her clients hair while blow drying it. At this point i knew it was after 4 and she was cutting corners to get out of the salon on time. She brushes through my hair very quickly and "there". I told her i didn't want to leave the salon with poofy undone hair, she proceeded to tell me that my hair was too damaged to use a flat iron and proceeded to run a curling iron that i'm not even sure was on over my hair. Mind you i hadn't had any chemicals in my hair for over 8 months, i take very good care of it! There were other clients in the waiting room and i would have been more persistent but i was embarrassed and completely shocked that a hairstylist would behave that way. I am now stuck with a solid brown hair that definitely wasn't what I wanted. I do not recommend this salon based off of the stylist i had.
