Gutted to say we were only people for 'pre ordered lunch. 13 of us . Had to let staff know on every course we were ready, overall food nothing like previous years and to top.it off was charged extra £10 for 5 coffees. #disappointed

My local pub is now better than ever with new friendlier management. Unfortunately I know there are a few people who don't want them to succeed and are happy to try to ruin someone's livelihood through negative weird of mouth. As new owners who have had a difficult start, maybe some feedback would be a good place to start.

I suppose my message is, see for yourself.

I love that they have fresh brewed, freshly ground real bean coffee for £2 a cup. Banging. I also do like the fact that they don't try and stuff food down your neck. I don't see the issue in saying "I'm ready when you are" but that seems to be an issue for some people for some strange reason

My honest opinion: great pub, nicer owners than previous, great food, good beer, friendly service. What more do you need from your local pub?

Had Sunday lunch last week, 26/11/17, it was excellent. The meal was a proper home cooked meal with no scrimping on the meat, vegetables or gravy etc,. Excellent value for money. Looking forward to going back, maybe this weekend!!

The last review was unfair. We don't do latte's as you were told! The food here is excellent. Sunday lunch is beautiful.

Nice local pub with helpful staff. Just been refurbished to a high modern spec - nice. Good menu choice and a clean beer garden/terrace when the weather is kind.

This once was a lovely pub but it's tired and needs a facelift. Ordered 2 latte coffees which took over 20 min to appear. Cups of black coffee with jug of milk arrived. . Not impressed
