Great fish and chips, the small portion was more than enough for me. The man who served me was fantastic with a great personality, he really cheered me up! Will certainly be back!

The fish and chips was fantastic. We just couldn't ask for better service from the staff just so polite and nothing was to much. We would highly recommend Holdgates

A tiny portion of chips and this was the chipsteak. You wonder why its busier elsewhere.

Still the best fish and chip shop in Perth, left Scotland 11 years ago so when I came up visiting it was great to still see them trading. Had to buy the deep fried battered burger supper and take it to the inch to eat. I really hope they keep trading and will all make sure I pop in again the next time I am in Perth again.

Is this the best fish supper ? If it's not then I have to say it's right up there and trust me I've had a few fish suppers in my time.

Cooked from fresh so be prepared to wait because it's worth it.

The chips are perfection absolute perfection and the haddock was so tender and flavoursome WOW

Disappointed. When a simple question of how many bits of fish are in a supper, and none of the staff couldn’t answer it, was just the beginning. They said one even though every time we’ve been you get one and a half. Secondly the portion sizes have been cut in half since the last time, tiny amount of chips given. Next the staff weren’t listening as we had to repeat our order 3 times. The order took twice as long as it normally does. Chicken strip supper was served in a flip box and not wrapped so the girl couldn’t close it to start with then it kept popping open. We did ask for salt but there was far to much salt added. Lastly we asked for a bag and the lady gave us it to pack our own order even though the order wasn’t even ready to pack? The prices are expensive for this type of service. Definitely gone down hill since the last time we were there.

Terrible carry out meal, stopped here for a steak pie supper, the pie was alright but the chips were all little bits. This used to be the best in Perth but now it has a couldn't care less approach. Will not be back here very soon.
