Es handelt sich tatsächlich um einen Beach Shop mit integriertem Café (oder umgekehrt), die Atmosphäre erinnert daher eher an eine kleine Kantine. Wir haben hier aber sehr leckeren Cream Tea bekommen und auch die anderen Snacks sahen sehr appetitlich aus. Einen extra Stern gibt es für die wunderbare Aussicht auf den Strand
We fancied scampi and chips and pancakes but weren't hungry enough for both. They had no problem with us sharing a main course and a dessert so we got to enjoy both. They were delicious, will go again ????
Hartleys Beach Shop is perfectly situated for beachcombers, sea anglers and anyone else who gets hungry after walking the shore.
Meals are substantial and reasonably priced but my family just wanted the ice cream; the best in the country !
Clearly closing down for season so did have to put up with the chest freezer being scraped out as a background noise.
Beautiful views of the bay. Staff friendly. Food was good. Not a great selection but hot and decent portion size and quite quickly prepared.
Staff clearly loved the dogs people bought in which I don't have a problem with as an owner myself but the staff were wearing aprons and went and picked up dog and fussed and then went back to the freezer, cleaning and serving so the apron was really pointless. We had eaten when that occurred so not directly affected but not great.
Lovely full English breakfast incl tea and coffee for £7.50. Service was really good, friendly, prompt and helpful. Views over St Bees beach and the sea are fab!
Often call in for a small English breakfast. Sausage egg bacon hash brown beans tomato toast and tea. Bargain at £3.95 and friendly service and views
Great views of the beach. Service was a little confused, needed to ask whether you ordered at the desk as no one came over for a while. Good food and drinks, worth the confusion.
Great place to stop for a coffee after a walk on the beach at St. Bees. Decent choice on the menu. Houses a small convenience store, which has limited choice, particularly in February. Has a little bookshelf where you have a selection of used books to purchase for a nominal fee.
