Been going Hair's R Us for almost 20 years. I don't let anybody else touch my hair.. Great laid back place, and people. Prises always fair.
When looking for a barbershop I found this hidden gem. Everyone was busy but cordial, welcoming, and very helpful. Tommy was my barber and what I loved about my experience is that the conversation was good, they played good music that appeals to both a younger and older audience. But also they made me feel at home, and the haircut was excellent. I also liked how my barber asked specific questions to make sure I received the best service, questions I’ve never been asked at any other shop I’ve been to. All in all, I will continue to go to this business, I honestly think they set the bar for how barbershops should be.
If you are the first one between 7:30 and 11:00 a.m. you will be in and out, otherwise your appointment will run at least two to three hours late, constant overbooking
I went here to get my hair done on Tuesday. I arrived promptly on-time. My styles needed to be called once I arrived at the appointment that she created. She then came 1 hour after our schedule appointment. Not only was she not prepared to braid my hair she didn't have the supplies needed. The appointment went longer than expected and I ran out to catch my next one. The hair only lasted for a day and a half. I paid $180 for hairstyle that supposed to stay up for 6 to 8 weeks. I was recommended for from a friend. I asked the stylist if she has done these types of braids twist before and she can forward me yes.
Two days after the appointment I immediately send the stylist picture of the unprofessionalism and the quality of her work. I didn't get a reply back from her. I then called and left voicemails and arrived at her shop on Saturday. She aggressively informed me that she did not answer me due to her schedule being booked. I kept calm and told her I understood. She seen how poorly my hair was and did not seem to care. My hair was unraveling and slipping out.
The following Tuesday, she texted in the middle of a day with excuses and tried to schedule a redo for the next day. By that time a week of this poor quality hairstyle was already falling out of my head and was taken down. I politely declined and ask for a refund and still no response. The owner of this establishment seems to be the only one that actually gives proper courtesy punctuality and professionalism.
I got my hair braided here two times. Trouble really does a good job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
