I just left there with my sister, I had picked up two earrings and went to go show her somewhere else in the store. We ended up putting the two back and picking up a different pair. When we checked out they then accused us of not putting one back and insisted we took two and only paid for the one. We did not and they should’ve seen that on their cameras. We then left and saw we had been charged for 13 items even though we only got 12. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A YOUNG BLACK PERSON, they WILL accuse you of stealing.
We almost went back but honestly if they are that pressed for $7 fine, haven’t been there for a few years and honestly this whole interaction reminded me why. There are better hair stores with a more diverse staff that DO NOT accuse customers of stealing
They’re probably upset because they got looted but they should not take it out on paying customers
