I was there on Friday and I got my nails all deformed. The lady ( I believe the owner did my nails) Is the second time they don't do a good job on my nails. Last time I go there.
UPDATE- The manager replied to my review and he said to get a hold of him. Every time I called the lady said he wasn't there so I left a message with the lady and left my phone number. I called again a few days ago and nothing. I just would'nt recommend this place if the uncle or the lady with black short hair does your nails....
I went here to get my acrylic nails removed and a manicure. I specified not wanting gel because my nails are damaged from the acrylic and I wanted to give them a break. I was asked numerous times and told they would look better with gel. I repeated my reasoning several times. I was really looking forward to the acrylic removal and a manicure to remove cuticles and get them shaped up. I asked for round, I received square. When I noticed they were square, I asked again to make them round but she just rounded the sides. Then after she painted my nails clear, she put my hands under the UV light. I said “this is regular nail polish right” and she said no it’s gel. I felt the manicure was being rushed because there were two people waiting for her to cut their hair. I ended up paying full price for a gel manicure and acrylic removal and leaving. With tip my total was $75. I was disappointed by how they looked and the disregard for my wishes. I didn’t want to immediately post a negative review so I called and left a detailed voicemail requesting to be called back by the manager. I never received a a call back. I’d suggest Heaven Nails in the Heights.
Got a manicure and pedicure with my friend the other day. Clean, fast, and nice overall. Took my daughters and my friend brought hers a couple days later for mani pedis and they loved it. Probably will go here again sometime, just a little expensive but the end result is very good.
I received the absolute worst haircut of my life. I arrived at the Haie and Nail Studio with pictures of the hair style I was hoping to achieve. What I received was a look similar to the 3 Stooges Moe - I'm serious. If I could rate the service with a negative 5 stars, that would be appropriate.
The decor has all been redone and looks beautiful!
I went to check on how long it would be for a walk in eyebrow wax and was told a few minutes. 20 minutes later the lady stopped doing someone's pedicure to do my eyebrows and I laid on the table for the wax, she literally waxed the top & bottom of each brow, totally thinned them from their natural hairline and said you're done. I said can I see a mirror & she pointed & said big mirror on the wall. I was very upset because she was in a hurry, didn't ask me how I wanted them which was just cleaned up not waxed nearly all the way off. I won't go back. I will continue taking my business to The Dalles.
Studio hair and nail was recommended to me when I have to get my nails done for a wedding the following day. I called the day before and asked how much it would be for a full set and they told me $40. The gentleman who is doing my nails may be said 5 words to me the whole time I Was there. I ask for a square oval shape For my nails and he had no idea what I was talking about. This is the weirdest Shape now I have ever had anyone do For me. They were very large and clunky, and looked cheap. He did not push my cuticles back in and he did not carry the acrylic all the way down my whole nail so after just having my nails done it looked like they have been outgrown in needed a fill. When I went to The front to pay the total came out to $51. I clearly had nothing special done to my nails no nail art Or anything that would correlate to the price being $11 more than he told me over the phone. All I had was the Polish and a matte top coat, And if The extra $11 is for a silly top coat then that is ridiculous. I got home and my dad ( Who is a professional and went to beauty school for hair and nails but only does hair now) Was shocked when I told him I paid someone to do these nails, You told me they would large and uneven Like a pack of stick on nails from Walmart.
To say the least I'm unimpressed.
They were very busy for pedicures, and a couple manicures, but I was the only person getting a full set Done and now I see why.
Not sure how I feel on this quick cut I paid $30+tip. They were busy so I tried to keep it simple. I just wanted split ends trimmed and the result is not what I expected.
Ariana is my choice for nail tech on a regular basis. She is quick but careful, very pleasant to conversate with and she does an amazing job! She has some awesome art skills as well!
