Sadly, I stopped coming to Penarth groom for men. The turnover of staff is too much, as you just can't settle there. One day I'd have a good cut, the next it'd be poor, and the next I'd have no idea who any of the staff members are. I had a few decent cuts there, but the unknowing was just too much and I'm now settled at a new barber where the same two people have been for over a year.
Found this place abut half a year ago and have been going there ever since. Everyone is really friendly and the service is amazing.
They offer free drinks while you wait ranging from coke to beer. There is also an Xbox there for you or your children to play on while they wait.
Everyone there knows what they are doing and give great haircuts that match your request.
Went in and asked for an appointment, the one man was cutting hair and the other guy was doing nothing, he asked the guy do you fancy doing this, he said ahhh I could do I guess, the one cutting hair then turned to me and said first appointment is tomorrow, shocking customer service,we will never return so that is 3 regular customers they have lost out on!
Gentrification is here. Feels like a modern gentleman's club, with gaming and free drinks on offer. But, most of all, the service is excellent and the cuts spot on. They also offer a full rage of grooming options and the prices are reasonable.
Amazingly helpful staff who couldn't do enough for me. Offered great advice and the complimentary beer was a nice touch. Thought having longer hair might be a hindrance, but my barber knew his trade and did exactly what was required. Will definitely be returning. :) thanks guys!
