Best PlaceJuice Reviews

We walked in last minute and were accommodated with a table in the front window. This was perfect until all the delivery drivers came in and stood all around us. The decor was vibrant and you could've thought you were in Greece. There wasn't the same Greek friendly atmosphere as you get in other Greek restaurants, but there were no negatives.
The food was fantastic though and the service excellent. We had a platter for two and really enjoyed it. The portions were huge. It cost £22 and was well worth every penny. Can't wait to go back.
Great food, great service. My wife is a vegetarian gluten-free and they accommodate her exceptionally well.
Love the fact you can sit and enjoy a little piece of Greece here. The dishes are traditional and so is the drinks. Mythos, Alpha beers. Greek wine. Gyros and platters. Shout out to Francesca who made our 1st visit great. Will be back again soon.
Absolutely gorgeous greek food, fresh, tasty, seasoned beautifully. The lamb was so tender & the salad delicious, fantastic large portion sizes.
Went here tonight was sat in window
Same as others have stated delivery drivers surround you they were soaking wet stinking of fags not a good experience.
Food was ok tiny pieces of chicken also no utensils to pick up food from platter only your own forkok if your family but no good if friends bit unhygienic to say the least.
Don’t think we will visit anytime soon.
This has to be the best Greek food that my family have ever tried! We didn’t have to wait long for our food, it was piping hot and was delicious. The flavours of the food are amazing and the portion size are very generous. All the staff are very friendly and I will look forward to eating here again. I highly recommend this place. Thank you all for such lovely food.
Usually fairly good food. However, went for a special takeaway for a celebration, specifically asked for no pork in the gyros, but that wasn't done. They were completely unapologetic "people make mistakes" was all I got. After pressing they offered 10% off next order, I declined, because I wont go there again. The average kebab shop food isn't worth the risk of the poor service and disproportionate price.
Amazing food! Only problem is having to wait when we go to collect the order and there are loads of delivery drivers hanging around in the restaurant.

Quick Facts About Greek Village

Greek Village place seems to have both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. In terms of strengths, many customers praised the food quality and taste, referring to it as "absolutely gorgeous Greek food" and "fantastic." The dishes were described as fresh, tasty, and seasoned beautifully. The lamb was highlighted as particularly tender and delicious. Additionally, the portion sizes were mentioned as generous, providing value for money. One customer mentioned having a platter for two which cost £22 and was considered well worth every penny.
The service at Greek Village place was also praised by several customers. They mentioned that the staff were friendly and accommodating. One customer specifically noted that their wife, who is vegetarian and gluten-free, was well taken care of with suitable options. Another customer appreciated a staff member named Francesca for making their first visit enjoyable.
The ambiance and decor of the restaurant were also appreciated by some customers. They mentioned that the vibrant decor made them feel like they were in Greece. The traditional dishes and drinks, such as Mythos and Alpha beers, Greek wine, gyros, and platters, added to the overall experience of a little piece of Greece.
However, there were some weaknesses noted by customers. One common complaint was the presence of delivery drivers standing around and potentially crowding the dining area. This was seen as a negative experience, with one customer mentioning that the drivers were soaking wet and smelled of cigarettes. The lack of a separate Greek friendly atmosphere was also mentioned, suggesting that the restaurant did not feel as authentic as other Greek restaurants.
There were also a few complaints about specific aspects of the food and service. One customer mentioned receiving tiny pieces of chicken and the absence of utensils to pick up food from the platter. This was seen as unhygienic and not suitable for sharing with friends. Another customer expressed dissatisfaction with a takeaway order, where their request for no pork in the gyros was not followed. The response from the staff was deemed unapologetic, leading to disappointment and a decision to not return.
Finally, there were some comments about the wait time when collecting orders due to the presence of numerous delivery drivers. This may suggest that the restaurant prioritizes delivery services over dine-in or takeaway customers, potentially leading to longer wait times and inconvenience.
In conclusion, Greek Village place has strengths in terms of food quality, generous portion sizes, friendly service, and a pleasant ambiance. However, weaknesses include the presence of delivery drivers crowding the area, a lack of a distinct Greek atmosphere, and occasional issues with specific food orders and service.
