Best pizza I've had in a long time. We stopped by after visiting Casey, IL. I've always been a thin crust pizza kind of guy but I gave the deep dish a try and wow, it was awesome. If you get the deep dish I'd recommend ordering it early as it can take up to 45 min to bake. Dont forget to snap a fun pic with the giant pizza cutter on the way out.

This place is Pizza Palace! There is no where nearby that you can get this quality of pizza. It’s worth the drive over to Casey IL for a taste of real pizza. They have several speciality pizzas to try. The deep dish is excellent. If you plan on ordering one be prepared for a 45 min wait. It’s totally worth it. They have great garlic knots and salads to start with. The only down side to this restaurant is the beverage they serve. I’m not one who enjoys Pepsi. If you do you’ll be in paradise in this small yet huge place of pizza.

Central Illinois has its fair share of pizza posers, places that advertise "Chicago" style pizza but end up delivering something that underwhelms. I had heard good things about Greathouse of Pizza, so I drove the 30 min to give them a try.

The deep dish pizza is legit. It's very reminiscent of some of the mom and pop pizza places I grew up with back home in Chicago. The ingredients taste fresh and the crust is perfect. The sauce has a bit too much parmesan cheese for my taste, but that's just a personal preference.

I did carry-out and the pizza was still hot when I got it home 30 min later. I wish I would have dined in because the pizza would go great with a cold draft beer. And I really like the restaurant's decor. Seems like a cool place to eat.

If you haven't been there before, you really have to keep an eye out for the place because the sign is tough to notice from the street and the building itself is rather un-assuming.

Overall, it was well worth the trip. I'll absolutely be back to try their other crust styles and possibly some of their specialty pizzas.

My salad was wonderful,pizza the absolute best but I paid 7.99 for like a sample size of Mac and cheese. The atmosphere was very bland . Took a bit to get used to no waiters. The employee's very friendly.

This place has got some really different takes on pizzas specials.

Some are really good. And the some not so much. If you find one you like you may not be able to get it next time.

Drove an hour!! Spent 2 1/2 hours there!!! Food was really good...........Service and Management/Ownership was the WORST!!!!!!!!Took us over a hour and a half to get our food!!!!

And we were the 3rd ones in after opening!! Owner was very rude!!! No apology from him or discount for our horrible service! Even though the pizza was good.............

WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!!!!

This place was very busy on Friday evenings. We had about a 45 minute wait for a table. We were in no hurry. While I waited the kids went around town collecting "World Largest" photos. The garlic knots are a must have! We had Sicilian style pizza, it was excellent.

Pros— good garlic knots and somewhat timely manner of receiving food.

Cons— overpriced for what you get. Drinks way to high. Deep dish is #4 in state but we got 3 and none of them was consistent or even all that good. Mine was like thin crust with a pound of cheese. The others was super thick crust and a little cheese. Charge to use CC but don’t say they do before you pay. They do NOTHING but bring your food to you. You go up and order them are expected to clean your table up after you’re done.

Do not recommend and will not return.
