I had the best haircut I’ve ever had today with Gentle. She asked me exactly what I wanted and took care of my curly hair very nicely. I have beautiful layers without looking like a mushroom. Left with tons of new styling tips and the sickest cut I’ve had in a while, thank you Gentle!!

Cedez has been doing my hair for years and has always done an incredible job. I am incredibly low maintenance when it comes to my hair (if I have to do anything other than brush it as I'm walking out of the door, it's not happening) Despite this, no matter what color or cut I've gotten from Cedez it has always looked great, and with care the bright colors last me at least 4 months and instead of turning off colors they fade into beautiful pastels. No extra care needed either! I'm using the shampoo, and conditioning treatment she recommended, and my hair has never felt softer. I will never go anywhere else.

I don’t know yet only been once and didn’t get the whole color I want so I’ll let you know on my 2nd visit with Natasha this coming week and I will want to grow it out blunt with wispy bangs but need my color nice and really blond not ashy but a beach blond. if you’re a hairdresser for 18 years but tell the customer they never have been to a Hair Show & I tried to talk about News but she said “I don’t know what really goes on” WOW But never has left Arizona and hasn’t gone to a professional Hair Show , I just couldn’t believe it but if you saw how she was doing my foils it was scary 18 years she didn’t even know sports. Ì felt so badly I gave her a $35.00 tip just because I felt bad for her.

I don’t know why Tucson isn’t as creative as Southern California or New England where I have gone to 3 big Professional Hair Show’s with a good friend who did my hair back East on the East Coastline Just when I thought the roads where bad here. I really wished I had my appointment with Natasha that’s all I can say. I’m moving on. Unbelievable. Really shop around like interviewing before getting color or cuts & see what they have for heating devices for highlighting & not being so back off on what the client wants. Really if you stay in this area really check out what they have and ask questions on what products & make sure they have gone to a Professional Hair Show since they graduated from Hair school & find that out also. I have never trusted anyone with my hair in Tucson until I came to Natasha! Very knowledgeable friendly and helpful! Front reception lady who answers phone Friday mornings was very kind and accommodating! Have tried other recommended places in Tucson and wouldn’t go anywhere else even if I have to wait to get on the books!

I had a great manicure and pedicure at this salon for my wedding. Valerie is a very skilled professional, and it was great service and a really fun time to chatting with her as she did my nails. Highly recommended!

I have naturally curly hair and have not had much luck with haircuts or color. Great Waves did a great job. Not only was my color and highlights awesome my haircut was finally what I’ve been wanting. Also- the treatment they used to condition my hair was amazing. I get a lot of compliments on my hair now.

I live in Dallas and have family in Tucson. I wait for my haircuts till I can fly in to Tucson and get to Great Waves salon. So worth it.

This was my first time getting my haircut in a salon and I was very excited and hoping for a transformative experience. The salon was nice. They had called back to push my appointment to the last opening of the day and my first mistake was agreeing to this time slot because I ended feeling rushed from the time I walked in. I told the hairstylist I wanted my hair above my shoulders and she tried to convince me otherwise asking what my husband would think. I kept asking for shorter but realized I wasn’t going to get what I came for. It was impossible for me to take an after picture with a smile and I am a very smiley person. I ended up cutting my own hair shorter the next day. So, unfortunately, besides good conversation with the stylist and a chance to get out of the house, I would say my visit was a waste. I had asked to get styled also but again due to having the last appointment time she just did two curls and told me how badly she’d like to curl the rest… my first experience getting my haircut in a salon was a let down but I will try again.
