We haven't had a Chinese Takeaway for a long time so decided to give Golden City a try. The food was lovely we had chicken chow mein and chicken with mushrooms. Good value for money. The lady on the counter is so nice she's really friendly. Will be coming here again ????

I left hungry.....I get really grumpy when I'm hungry

I orded chicken curry, crispy chilli beef, salt + pepper chips and spring rolls, both main meals very watery and unflavoured, chips were very bland and limp and the spring rolls were awful, all soggy and no filling, I've had a Chinese from here a few times and always been let down, I wouldn't recommend it

Food was not great at all, in fact we left quite a bit, I think we have been very spoiled by usually going to the Chinese in holt, worth travelling the extra distance or have it delivered, probably the best in the area if not county.

Our dinner was lovely, everything was cooked very well. My favourite dish was the deep fried shredded crispy chicken in chilli sauce, I recommend it.

We use to use Golden City on a regular basis but our last 2 visit have been very disappointing, We went a few weeks back for ourselves and out 2 grandchildren we found the chicken to be of very poor quality. Last night we thought maybe it was just a one of so we’ll give it another chance. Unfortunately it was the same so that’s probably the last time we’ll be going. PS 19:00 and they boiled rice.

This is my local Chinese take away...and I am very happy. Very good and fresh quality, plenty of it. I love the veggy rolls, the best actually I have had in Wrexham area. The lovely lady always has a smile and she already knows what I want.... vermicelli Singapore.????. It is very popular in Gresford.
