It’s a pretty cool little store, a little old, but still pretty cool. They have a deli inside, and the food there is pretty good. If they have them, get the jalapeño poppers, they are really good. One of my favorite parts is the .79$ pickles. The people there are pretty nice also. Gas is a bit expensive, but it’s one of the only spots around.
Over all the staff is amazing. However. They have one young lady with tattoos who is the worst, bad attitude having person I have ever come across at any store! She is extremely rude and doesn't want to be bothered to check you out. She gets mad that you came to her instead of someone else. Extremely bad experience!!
Great Ol fashioned grocery store with post office and recently remodeled fuel station
A nice friendly place for a quick trip for shopping or gas
Great food, drinks and atmosphere. View of foothill area. Saloon, dancing, bands, karaoke, full bar and nice size parking section. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Restrooms, dining room, family style room, cozy tables. All types of seating for all different occasions. Children high chairs are available. Disabled parking section.
The two stars are for the employees. They are always so sweet and helpful and genuine. As for the groceries; there’s a lot left to be desired. It’s pricey but I expect that for being so far from a larger city or town but as such, a grocery provider for people in the country, you would think, would be more knowledgeable in animal welfare practices and selling meats that are humanely raised. If you buy in bulk and package those items separately you still need to list the ingredients. I wish they would sell more organic, free range, grass fed and less mechanically separated and artificially flavored. They would be able to compete with the new dollar general if they did.
Not a very good selection... and it seems like prices are 30% to 40% higher than normal. I bought chips and dip and paid almost $11, only to taste find out the chips were stale! They used to be the only store within miles, now you can go across the street for the same chips and dip for about $6 or $7 at Dollar General. (and it wasn't from last months delivery.)
In a pinch if you need something and dont want to drive all the way to town but otherwise we avoid this place. Its way overpriced and half the time things are expired or produce is about to spoil. They do have a decent deli and thier fried chicken is good but they only cook it early in the day so if you go in the evening its been sitting there all day under a heat lamp and is all dry and gross
