Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Decided to try Go Sing tonight instead of our usual Chinese takeaway and we’re extremely disappointed. Very expensive compared to others in the area, hardly any duck on the bone, everything a bit chewy and just not nice. Wouldn’t recommend.
Well, they only get 2 stars as the food is generally nice, however, for the second time in recent months I've had issues. The other month she over charged me and when I questioned it she corrected it. And most recently last night I worked out the bill but they told me it was £5 more, I thought ok maybe leaflet is old, when they come to door to deliver its gone up more! And not only that but we ordered King prawn in batter and was sent pork balls in batter. Just feel like this place is robbing me every time I use it. Well that was the last time. They have definitely lost our custom now.
The best tasting Chinese takeaway around! Have tried many others nearby and in other places but have always been disappointed when compared to Go Sing. Super friendly once you get chatting. So glad this is our local. There's also a large succulent that they have been growing for over 20 years in the waiting area - amazing!
Last night I ordered. ( 10th June )
Sweet and sour chicken balls some of them under cooked
Singapore noodles the vermicelli noodles were undercooked and the whole dish so dry with curry powder I only had one fork full.
Capital spare rib’s I think they should tell you that they are chopped into 20 mm pieces, so not what I would call rids
So over all if I could give them no stars ⭐️ I would. You can stand at the counter and watch them cook !!! Maybe slow down a little and think about the quality of food that you are serving the public
Ps. I was also given a bag of tasteless prawn ???? crackers to finish the whole awful experience off
Never again !!!
Been using this takeaway for 15 years. My regular order has gone up 50% in the past 2 years, and 15% in the past few weeks. Plus I asked for prawn crackers today and they asked for another £3.30. it's no longer value for money.
The food isn't as tasty as before, either, so time to shop elsewhere. Such a shame.
**Update **
They provided the incorrect dish then made me pay to replace it, told me I couldn't pay by car for £6.50 after just spending over £50, said I had to spend a minimum of £11. Felt like I had been robbed by con artists. The WORST service I have ever received. After being a loyal customer for over 15 years I will NEVER order from here again. Even if I was starving to death and this was the only option in the country.
DO NOT give them your hard earned money. They should be ashamed of their lack of customer service!!!!!!!!
Terrible service. Tried to charge me £11 for noodles!!! Rude servers. Will NEVER order anything from here again. Food isn't the best around here
Had the best Chinese take out meal from here last night that I've ever had. Always good service, fairly priced, hot, plenty of it and on time. Will most definitely be using again !
These people have worked unbelievably hard over the last year. Yes, sometimes over promising times for collection and delivery. I always collect and have seen the orders they have to get through. It's astounding. Exceptionally well priced an generous portions and never had anything left on the plate. Just what you want.

Quick Facts About Go Sing (Chinese Takeaway)

Go Sing (Chinese Takeaway) has received a mix of positive and negative comments, which provide insights into its strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentions that Go Sing is the best tasting Chinese takeaway around. This suggests that the food quality and taste are generally good, setting them apart from other nearby options. Another positive comment highlights the friendliness of the staff, indicating that the customer service is satisfactory and creates a pleasant experience. Additionally, the presence of a large succulent plant that has been growing for over 20 years in the waiting area may contribute to a visually appealing atmosphere, which could add to the overall experience.
However, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed. One common complaint is the high prices compared to other Chinese takeaways in the area. Customers feel that Go Sing is overcharging them, and some have even experienced discrepancies between the advertised prices and the actual amount charged. This suggests a lack of transparency in pricing and potentially a lack of fairness in business practices. Moreover, multiple comments mention issues with the quality of the food. Complaints include undercooked chicken balls, undercooked vermicelli noodles, dry dishes, and chopped spare ribs instead of proper ribs. These inconsistencies in food quality indicate a lack of attention to detail and inconsistent preparation standards.
Customer service is another area of weakness. Several customers express dissatisfaction with the service they received. Complaints range from rude servers to incorrect dishes to being forced to pay additional charges for minor items. These experiences demonstrate poor customer service and indicate a lack of professionalism and care for customer satisfaction.
Another weakness identified by a long-time customer is the increase in prices over the years, coupled with a decline in food taste. This suggests a decline in value for money and a potential decrease in the overall quality of their offerings. The customer's decision to shop elsewhere reflects a loss of trust and loyalty towards Go Sing.
In summary, Go Sing (Chinese Takeaway) has strengths in terms of taste, friendliness, and the visual appeal of the waiting area. However, the weaknesses lie in high prices, inconsistencies in food quality, poor customer service experiences, and a decline in food taste and value for money. It is evident from the comments that Go Sing needs to address these weaknesses to regain customer trust and loyalty.
