Love the prices on Mondays - Thursday! Quick place to go and out for a blow out. The guys who does highlights knows what he's doing and very honest if the color will come out or not. Love my hair!!
I love Gloria’s it is my go to place because it bueno bonito y barato. Which means good pretty & affordable in Spanish. You can’t beat the fact that they are open every day including holidays. They also have a 2nd salon on 35 th & NYAve. They did close the 22 summit one during Covid not sure if they are back but having the sister store is a blessing.
I love this place $10 blow out Monday through Thursday and on weekends its $15. I had highlights done there and I was very happy with the results the lady was very cautious with my hair. Amazing price and my hair looks great all the time.
I feel like the girls are not experienced in all types of hair. My mothers hair was dyed everywhere except it was not dyed on the bottom end of her head/scalp. I was a frequent customer but i felt like they burnt it too much when my hair doesnt need alot of heat. Yet i feel the hot blower on my scalp. The music so loud everyone is talking over each other to hear. I would like to see them improve because its been the same since i was in high school
If you mind being publicly scorned to give a 100% tip, then this may not be the place for you. Blow outs are $10. I tried giving a 50% tip to which the woman who did my hair then proceeded to talk about me in Spanish thinking I couldn’t understand. Another employee across the salon chimes in and tells me how beautiful my hair looks and asked “how could you not give a whole $10 tip when she did such a beautiful job”. She then tells me it’s the holidays and that I should give more. I’m reasonable and asked how much the service was worth without the $10 sale so I could tip accordingly. They tell me “oh no, it’s always $10.” Essentially, I was pressured into giving a 100% tip after being ridiculed in public just so that they would shut up. To be clear, they went on for at least 2 whole minutes on why I should be giving them a 100% tip. I’ve worked in service for 4 years and have depended on tips. I know what it’s like. But if I make the decision to work in a place that I know is cheaper, I know I will not be getting the same tips as a place who charges more considering you tip according to price and quality of service. The place was filthy, the brushes they used were filthy and had tons of hair in them. There is no reason why I should be pressured into tipping 100% of what I paid to get my hair done as well as publicly scorned and told what to do with my hard earned money. Especially at a place as disgusting as this one. In my 4 years of serving, I have never publicly tried to embarrass someone to give me more money. Classless. Merry Christmas, you clearly needed it more than I did.
It is very cheap! I like to go there because they are fast and they don't take 2 to 3 hours to fix my hair. Usually I like how they fix my hair but there is one woman that burn my hair everytime she fix my hair and for that reason I stop going there and if I go I try to avoid her. She is very nice so i feel bad to tell her that I don't like how she fix my hair. I like it! Go in and out in 30 to 40 minutes.

It's a really affordable salon 15$ for a wash and set I do my hair for the last three years in hair salons and I never paid this little money. But quality matter in not really good, they don't straighten ur hair really good, my hair always last 4 to 5 days in This place couldn't stay at least for 3 days my hair went all crazy and frizzy and they don't use good hair product not even drug store is just cheap cheap products. So yeah 3 stars for the price and everytime I just need a regular blow dry I go there
The lady that did my hair was good the red head great people but as far as i remember tip is an option.that old lady with those ugly tattooed eye brows screamed out loud if i had tipped the girls with out even knowing i already had given the girls tips.
Yo siempre voy ahi pero tuve problema con esa señora de cejas tatuada con marcador grito alfrente de todos si habia dado propina.Asta donde yo se la propina es opcional y es semiprofesional k haga eso.yo pague por 6 gente y di propina y ella ni sabia perdon pero eso es ser vieja metida a las 5 chicas les di $5 cada una.Disculpe pero eso es antiprofesional y se pone hablar de todas las k trabajan ahi.
