I really enjoyed going there. I took a chance and went there I have natural hair and it's really soft and thin no one has ever been able to satisfy me with my hair I've been wearing wigs. The staff is very friendly and helpful I think I have found a stylist ????????????
Very professional. I get my hair done by Genesis, my silk press lasts a minimum of 3 weeks each time.

Here awhile now & im 100% sure I’m NEVER coming back here , They used to have more than 2 stylist they have young girls with NO experience washing your hair I literally watched the owner comb out someone hair and stop immediately after she realized her shampoo girl left shampoo or something in this lady hair , I was not ask about a deep condition like I used to , the owner told me to sit in the front as if I was Next to get my hair done just to call 2 other people in-front of me when she got done with one lady hair. I’m never coming back if they didn’t washed my hair I would’ve been walked out. When I get my hair braided by the Africans it’s NEVER like this and all they doing here is washing hair and silk pressing literally. Do not recommend
I’ve been going to genesis since I was 17 years old I am now 26. Best hairstylist ever . Now I bring my kids to her .
We have been at the salon for 5 hours. This unacceptable it is only 2 stylist in the salon and I should have known something was up when 2pm hit and we were just getting shampooed mind you we were here at 11:45. If you know that you cannot wash and press within 2 hours say that because I could have gone else where. I will never come here again wasted my entire Sunday if you want to wait 5 hours come here if not please go to a black owned salon that will get you out in 2hours
I arrived around 10:15 am and was not acknowledged greeted or spoken to for over an hour . Although I saw when I came in that there were only 3 women working. The owner, an older woman & a another woman who was really nice but spoke no English. She just washed hair. Anywho I sat here for 3 hrs still here & have only been washed. The owner also has her son here abs she balancing between parenting and working. As a working mom I understand. Hence is why time is so important. I don’t have time to be just sitting here for 3/4 hours appreciate your customers and their time as well as the experience. If you’re busy speak up or have appointment only on Sunday when staffing is an issue. A customer should never have to ask how long..4 hrs for a wash and blow is absolutely ridiculous. I’m still sitting here at 1:46 hair washed and dry now with no communication or nothing. Never again….
I love it here. Everyone is nice. The prices are decent too. They do they best hair washes. I actually might go today. I need to get a trim but I might wait one more month before I do. Anyway It’s clean and they always have nice music. I’ve had three or four different stylist and they are all good as well as nice. The service is also fast. The only thing that takes awhile is the dryer. The owner is also nice she let me come in really late one night it was almost 7pm. She’s even offered the clients food, definitely go! I usually go twice every few months.
