Never trust a chippy with a dry looking doner behind the counter. Chips had a darkish colour but no flavour or crunch. Fish was edible and while the gov proudly boasted of "fresh cooked", it also resulted in 10-15min wait (not helped by gov generally appearing confused). Portions were very large but most ended up slung in the bin. Place appeared clean. Avoid it you want real fish and chips

Good prices, service is a little slow as its cooked to order. Communication can be a little difficult, but the food is always good, and staff friendly. Parking is an issue, but if your in town, then worth a walk over. These guys deserve a bit more trade. Always open, always working. Decent food, good prices.

Can confirm it's a cracking chippy! Nothing much to look at, but I had a very reasonably priced Large cod, large chips and gravy (yes, gravy) for a tenner and it was very pleasant. Will certainly be back so thank you

First and last time going in. The onion rings were soggy, the chips were overdone, tasted awful. The fishcake was nice but most of the chips went in the bin. The guy serving didn't understand me.

Great traditional fish and chips, brilliant sized portions, also sells kebabs and other foods, prices are good and well worth a visit

I just had an amazing kebab and my girlfriend wonderful fish and chips. Food was very tasty, fresh and clean. Definitely will highly recommend very good value for money. ????

Perfectly cooked, homemade chips. Fish and batter was beaut. The owner let us try a sample of Irish curry sauce as we’d never had it before. Really nice to had it on our food. Friendly chap running the place - would definitely recommend!
