Had 2/3 good cuts. The one that wasn't great was because the person didn't do what I asked and told me basically I shouldn't do it that way... I've been in MIL for over 10 years, I know how high I like my fades (and what my wife likes to see). Other 2 listened and did a great job. Have never had to wait long, with or without a reservation. Easy to get to, parking pretty good, and can grab some froyo nearby if you're in the mood.
Great cuts for the money! I have been coming here for 5 years and and have always got a great cut from Helen. They have many talented staff. Walk-ins are welcome here but an appointment is the way to go to save yourself some time. Call early at 930 when they open or you may miss the opportunity to get a slot. It's always busy, but it's a great shop so it's no surprise. Cuts are reasonably priced and they do hair washing and sell hair products at the register. Check this place out if you need a barber!
Update: going on 6 years and still a great shop. They play a lot of hip hop videos on YouTube so if you have young kids I would urge caution if you don't want them exposed to women in scantily clad outfits.
Gave me a great cut over the weekend. Figured I would take my kid, made an appt and they closed the store without notice. Good just not reliable in the afternoons.
If my husband could give this place 0 stars he would.
This is by far the worst haircut he’s ever gotten. I can’t believe they hire people that CAN’T cut hair.

Best haircut I’ve gotten in Kailua! I had been to a few other barber shops in the area like A1 Barber and Mike’s, but this was by the far the best. Kody hooked it up real well and took his time to make sure I had a fresh, clean fade. Will definitely be returning here (and only here) from now on!
The best barbershop on island, I absolutely love this place and very nice people.
This is my new home barber. I travel 23 miles just to get my haircut; which is a 2.5 hour bus ride. I am stoked that I finally found a barbershop that meets my standards. I leave feeling so good about myself. I day dream about seeing my girlfriend's expression and looking handsomely for her.
The guy who did my hair this recent time did a good job. However there was somethings he missed, but I don't mind. I cleaned up the little thing myself. I showed up late for my appointment anyways. I'm just happy he didn't shave off my sideburns (since I have a hard time growing them.) ????
And then...
The very first time I discovered G Barber???? , I reserved a time slot for the next day ( since G.B ????is reservations only.)
So I come in close to being one of the last heads, and there's only one barber there. A woman, who I must say did an exceptional job cutting my hair. I received a confidence boosting haircut and a beating. Lol. Yes. A beating. Idk what the hell, but this woman I rough. Every time she went to press the clippers to my head she would do it with more force than I expected. It was great, I'm not even joking. But over all, it was worth it. No better deal in town like this shop.
I am apsolutly pleased with this place.
Great barbershop. Clean, professional and great barber work! G was very helpful and was able to get my hair just how i like it! I recommend this spot ????
