Sehr guten Cream Tea.
Amazing cafe with the friendliest staff and tastiest food! Perfect for fuelling a walk on the trail. Really impressed with the tasty vegan options too ????
Great friendly service (although we were forgotten about very briefly when trying to order dessert) and the food was delicious & good value for money.
Felt a bit rushed at the end as customers waiting for tables are allowed to queue in the doorway overlooking the small tearoom - this also made leaving quite difficult!
Piękne miejsce do podróżowania drogą rowerową Tarka Rails. Piłem kawę tylko ale dania podawane i ciastka wyglądały apetycznie. Dobre miejsce na oglądanie zachodów słońca.
Lovely place to grab a coffee and a bacon roll, a play area for the kids, cycle hire and spectacular views especially at sunrise and sunset.
Lovely little cafe tucked away, great area for walking, cycling or just taking in the views
Fremington Quay is an exceptional cafe that I recently had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel right at home. The cafe's decor is stylish yet cozy, with comfortable seating and lovely views of the Quay.
The food was simply outstanding. They use locally sourced ingredients, and everything I tried was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I especially loved their homemade cakes, which were moist, fluffy, and bursting with flavor.
The coffee was also excellent, with a range of options available, and served in a generous portion. It was the perfect accompaniment to my meal.
Overall, I cannot recommend Fremington Quay highly enough. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are all exceptional, and I cannot wait to return. If you're looking for a fantastic cafe experience, make sure you pay Fremington Quay a visit!
Great find especially when cycling/ walking with children.
The Quay was busy with people parking there bikes up .
The entrance to the fenced off play area was a bog. So wear Wellies.
The only problem I found. The kitchen was very busy which is very good to see there was only 1 x person taking orders for outside eating ( ok I guess ) but when people are just wanting an ice cream or a drink the waiting seemed to drag.

Quick Facts About Fremington Quay
One of the strengths of Fremington Quay is its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Multiple comments mention the friendliness of the staff, and how they made customers feel at home. This is important in creating a positive experience for visitors and encouraging them to return.
Another strength is the quality and taste of the food. Comments mention how delicious and tasty the food was, and the use of locally sourced ingredients is also appreciated. The café's homemade cakes are especially praised for being moist, fluffy, and bursting with flavor. This shows that Fremington Quay places an emphasis on providing high-quality meals for its customers.
The café's setting is also a strength. With its lovely views of the Quay, it offers a picturesque environment for customers to enjoy their food and drinks. Customers also appreciate the fact that it is tucked away and provides a great area for walking, cycling, or just taking in the views. This combination of a scenic location and outdoor activities makes Fremington Quay appealing to a wide range of visitors.
Another advantage of Fremington Quay is its accommodation of different dietary preferences. Comments mention that the café offers tasty vegan options, which is appreciated by those who follow a plant-based diet. This shows that the café is mindful of various dietary needs and is inclusive in its menu offerings.
However, there are some weaknesses that have been mentioned. One comment states that they felt rushed at the end of their visit because customers waiting for tables were allowed to queue in the doorway overlooking the tearoom. This made leaving quite difficult and created a bit of a crowded and potentially uncomfortable experience. Improving the seating arrangements and managing the wait times more effectively could help address this issue.
Another comment mentions that they were forgotten about briefly when trying to order dessert. While the service was overall friendly and attentive, this lapse in attention can be a negative experience for customers. Hiring more staff or implementing strategies to ensure all customers are served promptly, even during peak times, can help improve the overall service.
One comment mentions that the kitchen was very busy, and there was only one person taking orders for outside eating. This resulted in longer waiting times for those who only wanted a drink or ice cream. This can be frustrating for customers who are looking for a quick refreshment and may discourage them from returning in the future. Hiring additional staff or implementing self-service options for simple orders can help alleviate this issue.
In conclusion, Fremington Quay has many strengths, including its friendly atmosphere, delicious food, scenic setting, and accommodation of different dietary preferences. However, there are also some weaknesses that have been highlighted, such as crowded seating arrangements, occasional lapses in service, and long waiting times for simple orders. Addressing these issues can further enhance the overall experience at Fremington Quay and ensure that it continues to be a top choice for visitors.
