Lovely atmosphere after being redecorated. Food as good as it always was, tastes fantastic and great value (pizza pasta half and half £12.50).
Staff are attentive, courteous and friendly.

Great food, great service, great value for money. Lovely Italian with great atmosphere. Very busy, best book in advance. Massive portions, especially the half and half (pizza and pasta). House red is really nice. ????
First visit post lockdowns and following taking to others of how good it was I'm afraid it's not living up to the hype. We had a late lunch for two and to compare it we based our expectations on something similar to mario house. Ordered similar food but mussels were in a watery base , more a kin to a tomato stock and lacked depth, focaccia bread was very thin and more like a Italian pizza base, centre was so crispy it was close to the texture of a thick cut crisp, again lacking flavour with a spattering of burnt rosemary and a twist of black pepper. Mains we split a pizza and paste, Arrabiata was lacking flavour with a very one dimensional flavour and no real taste of garlic or chilli, pasta was a little dense like reheated pasta. In reflection pizza was good with a selection of toppings and a good amount of cheese. Overall an underwhelming lunch and not planning a revisit anytime soon.

Today was my 1st visit since re-opening and it certainly did not disappoint. The re-decoration has given the resturant a fresh, modern and Mediterranean feel. I ordered carbonara and the franchesca pizza from the 1/2 & 1/2 menu. Both the pizza and carbonara were bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. Staff were lovely and polite. It was lovely to see the owner making a point of taking to each table, ensuring everyone was enjoying their evening. Great value for money, I would definitely recommend Francescas.
Absolutely phenomenal food and service. The staff are super attentive and a brilliantly decored interior.
Very nice food, and the waiters and staff were friendly. The only downside was that we had to ask for a desert menu, the staff didn't seem to want us to have one and looked like they wanted us to leave! In the end we did get our deserts though, and they were as lovely as the main courses.
