The Place is spotless, you can tell they've had a deep clean and hygiene precautions are spot on. There are sanitising points at the entrance and more scattered around the venue. The staff are also taking precautions to protect themselves and customers.
There's a fantastic beer garden that offers shaded seats if like me, you don't like too much sun.
The food menu was limited when we visited, but there is still a great selection available. We had the Chicken parmesan and good old fish and chips. Some dishes are offered as a smaller portion at a cheaper price.
Visited 14/4/22 and it's still spotless, larger food selection and more seating inside.
Kids and pets are welcome.

Dropped in on the way to watch Northallerton football team for lunch. What an absolute treat. Had a light snack but delicious all the same. Friendly staff and beautiful Christmas decor. To relaxing by far ha ha. We will definitely be here again.

on the outskirts of Northallerton was quiet when we arrived on doors opening. only been the once but would visit again.
Very friendly welcoming country pub with excellent pub food. "Laid back" friendly atmosphere with helpful informed staff for information on nearby Northallerton market town. We visited in Motorhomes and had a pleasant walk into Northallerton for the market, shops and pubs. Water and elsan available for stay overs. Had very nice evening meals and drinks before setting down in lovely park location for quiet night. Recommended. Will definitely visit again.
We have just enjoyed a fabulous Turkey Christmas Dinner at the Fox & Hounds followed by a delicious christmas pudding and panacotta .. then coffee by the logburner ???? thankyou so much to all the staff for excellent service great value and a warm friendly welcome 5☆ Country Pub
First time at this pub & it was excellent, will definitely be returning very soon.
Love this place been coming here for years, the best parmo you will ever have!! Perfect food and staff are lovely.
