Not much of a review to give this takeaway justice as I order the same meal everytime salt and pepper chicken wings, salt and pepper ribs + hot and sour soup. Always made and prepared perfectly and very tasty never disappointed and owner very pleasant too.

Ordered chicken szechuan with chips which is £6.00. After about 5mins later I said can you substitute the chips with salt and pepper chips and the guy said yes. Now salt and pepper chips is £2.90 now normal chips is £1.80. The difference is £1.10 so i should be charged £7.10 but got charged £8.90 so £1.80 more. If he would have said we don't do substitutes then I would have ordered separately and could have got an extra chips for the same price. What a RIP off in this economic climate ????

Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in Preston. Staff are always friendly and helpful, food is always amazing. Try the salt and pepper ribs. Just be prepared to collect your food, but it's worth it.

I like the dude behind the till. He is just the friendliest fellow you could imagine

Best chips and curry sauce in Preston IMO

First went to Fortune House over 10 years ago when we moved to the area and it was well located on the way home from work. We normally use the delivery service these days, which is always good and the time they say is the time you get. I have to say I do sometimes miss calling in as it’s so friendly. We were wondering last week how many times we have ordered. It must be a couple of hundred times. We have never had a bad meal in all that time. Everything is consistently good. We always go for the Chinese menu. Crispy chicken with spring onions is always a favourite but there’s nothing we’ve ordered I’ve not liked. Far better than anywhere you can order from the likes of Just Eat in the PR1 area. Looking forward to the next 10 years. Thank you.

Tried a Chinese dish. Was ok. Couple of nights later thought I’d go for the ‘fresh’ fish and chips. Absolutely horrible! The ‘fish’ was one of those oblong shaped frozen things that you can buy from Farmfoods for £1.50 for a pack of six. Never again
