Slowly getting worse. After years of ordering the food is really going downhill. We order as a family as a treat every week. You now have to pay for prawn cracker which ok I understand. But honestly they were god awful, all broke and greesy. The meal its self was mainly onions more than any anything else. Chicken that was there was so dry we couldn't eat it. No answer when we tried calling to inform them. From going from one of the best Chinese takeaways in pontefract to probably one of the worst. We tried shumi 2 weeks ago and was different to fortune but fantastic.

I'm not into takeaways I went there for my brother.

Inside it is spotless clean and the food is fit.

I've since become a regular customer its bloody lovely.

First time we used Fortune House, special curry, bland, tasteless, meat minimum, dissapointed.

Absolutely disgusting and only went to collect 2 portions of chips and a curry sauce and first thing is that it was way too expensive plus they were oven chips and the curry sauce was like water. So glad I didn’t order anything else as their meat is probably poison. Should be closed down. Whatever you do avoid this place!!!!

Okay I absolutely love this place and have purchased for years and by far is the best locally. However, of late the meals are more onion and beans than meat and chicken fried rice as a meal is fried rice with tiny cubes of chicken very intermittently put in the huge tub of.....rice. delivery within the hour but cold. Surely heat bags to keep food warm is essential especially if under pressure..?? And finally....cash only...surely in the current climate a choice of paying by card is needed...??

Crispy sweet chilli chicken is the best I've ever had. Just moved to Pontefract so trying to find a local Chinese that is delicious. I will definitely order from these again as it was excellent.

Partner had chicken curry which he ate but he said it was too spicy so he didn't enjoy it much as it was too hot to enjoy the flavour. I tried it and thoughht it was lovely but I love spicy food.

I class myself as a bit of a Chinese takeaway connoisseur ⛩ the salt and pepper ribs are only second to pagoda sandle area and the rest of the food was fantastic with a capital FAN!
