Almost 60 , been going since I was 14. They play the same 70's music, weird. This honestly is a GEM! This store is well kept , clean, well loved & cared for. The Food Basket REALLY tries to have a GOOD VERIETY. NICE PRODUCE, DELI, REALLY NICE MEAT PREPERATION & PRICES! Dairy is sometimes high priced but, what are you gonna do, your already there.

I'm a huge believer shop local WELL 1st time in 25 yrs I make a return because recently everything is going bad. Always bought meat only here last week 2 packs chicken legs were bad immediately, beef bad in 2 days, chopped meat the good one bad in 3 days, potatoes went mildew in 2 days. . I bring back the beef an chopped meat the non customers skills meat guy said oh noo we can't return or exchange. They made me feel like I robbed meat.

Yes it does taste better in Bayville. For and added treat pay at the last 2 cashier's as you will see the waters of the Long Island Sound as the adept cashier quickly sends you on your way. For those that enjoy a good buy, do look for those manager's specials, not to mention the sandwiche of the week. So do drop by and enjoy the friendly hometown vibe.

One of the ladies in the sandwich area has a bad attitude, and I think she's very racist, but the other folks are good.

Food basket in Bayville is the best home town grocery store. They always are nice and the manager goes out of his way to get anything you want ordered. Ive been going for 35 years and they have always been this way

I absolutely love the food basket and all the mom and pop people who work there. They remember me and even laugh at my jokes. Why one request is that they start carrying miso as I definitely hate going to Whole Foods
