Nice view Raritan Bay not for long!
Best park in the area!
My daughter and I love going here. There is a gorgeous view. Always meeting nice people here. Very clean. The playground has a soft turf. Huge gazebo. Just love it here. So many positive memories.
I love that they made this park with that rubbery-kinda stuff in the ground so that when the kids fall down they don't get as Injured. Everything is brand new. There's always so many kids playing here. The view is absolutely perfect across the ocean to the City. Very clean park too.
Great spot for the days that Holmdel or Dorbrook Parks seem too big and you just want to bring the kids to a smaller, yet fun, park. The park has nice views of NY and Raritan Bay and walking the bulkhead along the water is a nice way to break up the time there. The comment about lack of shade is spot on. Save for the large gazebo, there's not much in the way of respite from the sun and on days with no breeze, it can be brutal. I'd also bring bug spray as they can become quite annoying toward evening hours towards the later summer months.
Great place to take your kids and relax next to the waterfront. It also contains the names of our past and present service members that protect our communities every day. Many people dont know this but at the park, there are also 4 decorative fire hydrants next to the plaques, each with the colors of one of the 4 fire stations in town. There is also a 5th one by the curb on Florence Avenue, it is painted gold and black which are the colors of the fire department.
Beautiful Park by the water and with some unique things on their playground structure too it's actually my daughter's FAVORITE park and we've been to a lot she calls it the "blue park". I also love that there is a water park and shaded gazebo to stay cool under

Great little park with city views. Could use a makeover though. Padded ground beginning to fall apart.
