I use to go to this beauty supply store for years ; I would rave about it to my friends because I genuinely love the products they sell there . . After my experience today , I’m never going back & I’ll be buying online or going to a different store . . I notice my lipgloss is running low , so I wanted to buy some more , I walk in & the cashier ( Chinese , Korean one of those ethnicities) immediately started profiling me , as if I was going to steal from their store . . Steal a $1 lip gloss at that. . That’s literally in front of him. . Yeah that makes sense . . Then He wouldn’t allow me to get a smell the lip gloss that is supposed to “smell” good supposedly. . Reason I wanted to smell it , was because it advertises that it has a certain smell & I'm the kind of person that like to know what’s I’m getting before I get it ; to prevent either a waste of money or product . . Find another store that will accommodate you & your needs , because this isn’t the store where they’re friendly or accommodating. .

My biggest complaint with this chain, is the lack of customer service and workers. No one is ever available to "help" you. So if you need something behind a counter, you can be looking for or waiting for about 30 minutes. They should really invest in keeping people on the floor solely for customer questions and stock checks that way a representative will always be behind a counter. Another suggestion I feel will help individuals is to separate products by hair type, it will make the shopping experience easier and I'll spend less time reading nearly ever product in each aisle to see what's the better product. Overall, the prices are fair and they carry the things I need when I need them.

I'm a licensed Cosmetologist, and I've been shopping at feels beauty for about over 8 years. Because of my licensed I get a little discount ????.

I love that they have a wide variety of natural hair products. They also have cruelty free makeup. And, I can easily get many of my Mani and Pedi, and other beauty implements and products there. But no worries, they carry a wide range of Hair and Beauty products that many other regular beauty supply has.

I go to professional beauty supply stores that are geared towards the licensed Cosmetologist... but I can truly say that Feels Beauty, is right up there with them. ????????????

It has improved a lot over the years. They now have a website. They are organized and Well kept. They have the high end look but the merchandise are reasonably priced. I've been to many of their locations, from Jamaica Ave in Queens; to Utica Ave, Flatbush Ave, and Gateway Center Mall in Brooklyn.

For the most part I always have a great experience there. My one little dislike sometimes is that I don't always get some products at one location. But I’ll get it at another location. But with so many locations, I make it work.????

I've been to this location several times and the owner and or manager is blatantly prejudice. She'll walk behind you as you shop or stand behind you and watch you. After speaking to the staff they also feel and have received the same treatment. Absolutely not ! Ladies please stop spending your money where you're treated like less than a person. Especially in or at an establishment that caters to women of color specifically . ✊????

Can be helpful when they are not on their phones, need to purchase some products for my clients. Hair, hair, hair... nice section for wigs but they need to have someone come in and style wigs on display and maintain the area a little.

I've been in the store several times and spent 100's of dollars. When I picked up my product the owner or manager came from behind the counter to follow and watch me. I will never shop there again! The staff is constantly changing because of the treatment from this lady. I spoke with several employees today and each complained about her treatment! While in the store she got mad with an employee and hung a help wanted sign! The disrespect was so blatant!

A lot of products & hair tools/accessories to choose from. Neat store, well kept. But the products especially for natural hair, are all WAY OVER PRICED than anywhere else. It's crazy how they are ripping their customers off.

Worker/cashier was nice, she gave me a discount. Majority of the products you need is available at a kind of reasonable price. Would recommend going there.
