Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Just moved to the area, and was searching for a new favorite beauty supply store. The korean man literally followed me around the entire time, pretending to sweep NOTHING. I was extremely uncomfortable, and felt racially profiled. After about 8minutes of browsing I left, due to the discomfort. Beauty Market Place across the street was a much better experience!! I happily spent my money there instead
i personally like coming to this place because they sell things that i can't find in other stores. however, every time i enter the store to look for something i feel personally uncomfortable because im not sure if the asian man there has dealt with shoplifting in the past before and feels afraid that any customer that walks in is going to steal, but i find it very uncomfortable to try to find what im looking for and this man keeps following me everywhere i go. this will be the last time i walk into this store to try to find what i need, the selection of products is great but i dont feel comfortable coming into the store.
This store owner/manager is racist. I don't get a good feel from here. I was very uncomfortable. The store worker kept following me around asking if I needed help when I already said No. I'll call you when I need assistance. Stay away from here if you're black.
On Christmas Day I went into store around 10:30 am to purchase coco butter , and got discriminated toward shame on this business, Korean guy approached me with remarks ! The Korean approach me saying you always come in my store to look around and never buy anything he needs to be removed from the Elizabeth store due to discrimination. I always go to the store he need to check the cámara I told him and I can also bring my bank card print outs to prove every time I purchase anything from the store. He should not make you feel uncomfortable when coming inside store to shop. I’m African American “black” this is a disgrace for a business to be racist like this ! It was the Korean manager who did this to me ….
If someone never stole from your store and you’re hovering over them. It’s racist. Not everyone of color on Elizabeth is a delinquent.
My husband & I came in to purchase a couple of items today May 31, 2020.( Due to the cornavirus we know the circumstances) And we had an unpleasant experience. While we're getting the items we wanted and as we approached the register a young Puerto Rican woman that works there and let's you enter the store. Came up to my husband asking to see his pocket and we showed her , and claimed that she saw him put something in his pocket which was his phone and to realize it was nothing she just walked away without an explanation. As my husband and I looked with shock & anger to accuse us of stealing. If your going to accuse someone of stealing at least be Correct. We we're very upset ???? and we actually liked this store and what it offers. but needs better customer service and someone who knows what there doing .
I wish I can truly give this store zero star after my experience last night. First, I will say the Asian lady who has been there is a gentle soul. She always helped and provide KD me with discount with more of the pricey items. Now, that Asian man, her husband, I think, is something else in a bad way. I went in last night with my little daughter. I had a store credit from last summer. The previous review from the former employee is very true. After looking a while for some hair, I saw an employee who I greeted but didn’t bother to greet me back and kept following me. After losing her, I decided on the items I wanted and proceed to take a ladder. After placing the ladder, another employee ran out of no where to help. I went up to the cash register to purchase the items. I saw a friend. We greeted quickly and she left the store a minute later. I gave the Asian man my two items, which were exactly the same item. He scanned the items for $13.99 and quickly changed the price to $15.99. I, of course, objected. This man tried to be slicked not thinking I saw the original price that he scanned the items. I refused to pay. He then said you see the price for $15.99. I told him I also see the price for $14.99 and it also scanned for $13.99. He refused to sell me the items for the price it scanned. Next, he started yelling at me. I in turned, yelled back. This man started flinching his arm SEVERAL times at me as if he were really going to hit me. I of course defended myself. He took his cell phone out. I told him please to call the police. He put it back. I told him to ring it up again so that everyone could see it ran for $13.99. He refused of course. I asked for my cash back. He refused. Why would I want to keep the store credit and shop at a store where I been completely disrespected. Furthermore, you are raising your hands as a threat to a young lady with her young daughter. He next rang up the items and changed the price to $14.99 and told me he will sell it for that price. I told him no. I just want my money back. And again he refused. I came back today with my husband to see if the Asian lady could just give me back my money. I stayed outside while my husband went inside. She wasn’t there. We then went to the police. Because he never made contact with me, it’s not assault. The police I had another police meet me at the store for a peace resolution. The man just kept saying I yelled at him. He didn’t say anything about flinching at me nor changing the price. The police could not make me give him back the cash and told me to go to the courthouse on Monday and file a dispute. Warning: please, please look at the screen when they scan your items. This price gauge is completely wrong. You just lost a loyal customer. I rather pay more money somewhere else to be treated with honesty and complete respect. I am still in disbelief that I was completely disrespected and attacked in front of my daughter because I stood up for myself. I wish the camera taping is still there to show the truth. I just wish I never shop there I never shop there all these years. Take note, the former employee is speaking truth!!!
I brought a soft & beautiful botanicals Texturizer on July 14/15th, not sure of the date because I no longer have my receipt- wasn’t expecting this. Today is July 20th & I finally opened the box, BOTH bottles of texturizer were OPENED & dried out. One bottle was completely upside down. Now I have to run out & grab another one from somewhere else, because I don’t even trust getting another one from here ????

Quick Facts About Feel Beauty Supply

Feel Beauty Supply has received a number of negative comments pertaining to the behavior of the staff, specifically the store owner/manager. These comments highlight various issues, including racial profiling, racism, discriminatory practices, accusations of theft, poor customer service, and dishonest pricing.
One of the main strengths of Feel Beauty Supply, as mentioned by a customer, is its selection of products. This suggests that the store offers a wide range of products that are not readily available in other stores, making it a unique destination for beauty supplies. Additionally, another customer mentioned that the Asian lady who works at the store is helpful and provides discounts, indicating that there may be some positive interactions with the staff.
However, the weaknesses of Feel Beauty Supply are evident in the comments made by multiple customers. The first recurring theme that emerges is the issue of racial profiling and racism. Customers have expressed feeling uncomfortable and racially profiled due to the behavior of the store owner/manager, who seems to follow and monitor certain customers closely, assuming they may be shoplifters based on their race. This behavior creates a hostile and unwelcoming environment for customers and is a serious weakness for the store.
Another weakness highlighted is poor customer service. Customers have complained about being repeatedly approached and followed by staff members, even after indicating they do not need assistance. This intrusive behavior can make customers uncomfortable and can deter them from returning to the store. Additionally, accusing customers of theft without evidence, as described in one comment, is highly unprofessional and damages the reputation of the store.
Honesty and pricing practices are also brought into question. One customer shared an experience in which the store owner/manager attempted to raise the price of an item at the cash register after the customer had already seen the original price scan. This deceitful practice is unacceptable and erodes trust between the store and its customers. Furthermore, selling damaged or opened products, as described by another customer, indicates a lack of quality control and respect for customers' purchases.
In summary, Feel Beauty Supply has strengths in its product selection and helpful staff members, but is plagued by weaknesses such as racial profiling, racism, poor customer service, dishonest pricing, and selling damaged products. These weaknesses lead to customer discomfort, dissatisfaction, and ultimately, loss of business. Addressing these issues through training, improved policies, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment is crucial for Feel Beauty Supply to improve its reputation and retain customers.
