I am always happy with the service and manicures here, very clean and everyone is friendly.
Except this last time, even after we both made it very clear, just a regular manicure, no gel polish.
And verbally repeated basic manicure, regular polish for both of us, before our nails got painted, that wasn't what we were charged at checkout.
After paying and leaving the store, I looked down at receipt and noticed I was charged for 1 manicure, 25.00, and one Gel polish 40.00. Neither of us could figure out who got gel polish. Both identical?
We both had the same manicures and the same polish used?
It was very frustrating but also my own fault for not looking before I paid and waiting till I got in my car to look. SMH
Usually they do a pretty good job, but I regularly get a French manicure with dip powder, which is straight forward. I gave up trying yo do different designs because my tech doesn’t want to make the effort. Like other shop’s I’ve been to, they charge more money and get lazy with the service.
I always feel rushed and this last polish is just bad for $72. I chose a cat eye color but the black underneath looks terrible. Should’ve been all gel polish but she put black dip powder underneath to make it more expensive. Not happy but it was so expensive I’m dealing with it until I can afford to get them redone. If i go back they will charge me again.
I love it here. My family has been going here for years and the nails always look gorgeous, and the staff is incredibly personable and friendly. They did my nails for prom a couple years ago, and as always they came out lovely. Pardon the low-ish quality photo, but you can see they're pretty great :)

Rose is by far the best person who has done my nails in a long time . She was quick super nice and paid attention to detail . I wanted to tip her but I didn’t take enough money because they ended up being $92 which was way more then I was expecting .
absolutely love this nail salon. they are very caring and very greeting right when you walk through the door. they are so so sweet and i will forever go to them.
My god, this place is ridiculous. I was a walk-in. I came in at 5:30pm. Now yes, that may be considered late but I had just gotten off work at 5pm. When I first walked in, there was a girl that came in right before me. She was greeted and asked what service she wanted as she was signing in. When I walked in and did the same thing, they just stared at me and ignored my existence. Okay, fine. Whatever. Then, minutes later, a mother and daughter (I’m guessing) came in after me and they were greeted. So now, I’m getting a little suspicious. Next, a couple walked in after them, and they were greeted as well. So, I continue to sit there waiting for them to call me up so I can get a pedicure, oh and not a complicated pedicure, just a simple, one color, gel pedicure. So the girl that came before me is called up, and of course I assume that they’re going to call me next because that’s the order that we came in. NOPE. They took the mother and daughter that came after me and then they asked the girl from the couple what service she wanted, like she was going to be next. MIND YOU, they haven’t even said one word to me for the whole HOUR I was sitting there. So finally, I decided to not only leave and go to another place the next day (because since I waited so long for them the other places were about to close and there was no chance I would’ve made it in time), but also to never, EVER go there again. They clearly have their favorites and I’m not going to put up with that.
Famous Nails does a really nice job! I love that I can make an appointment on line. Everyone is always very pleasant and friendly. I look forward to my nail appointments!
