I have had my hair cut several times by various stylists at this location with varying levels of satisfaction. I went in this morning about 11. I sat for 10 minutes and was not acknowledged by any of the employees. Yes, they were busy, but a word of welcome would have kept me there. Instead I drove about 15 minutes to a competitor's where I was greeted immediately and made to feel my business was important to them.
A few friends recommended this place to me. Big mistake! Went to get a high fade and Daisy was the one who cut my hair. I had to repeat what I wanted to her 3 or 4 times and she still messed up. She even had to call the other stylist over to clean it up and make it look decent. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed and done right. Don’t waste your money. Needless to say I won’t be back.
Terrible stylists working there. How can you mess up a buzz cut? I needed a haircut before an important meeting and other barbershops and chain hair cutters were either busy or closed. I looked at the reviews and took my chances at Famous Hair because they were the only ones in the neighborhood without any customers waiting (Gee…I wonder why). Such a bad experience, the lady with dreads messed up my buzz cut (literally shaving the sides and back of my head is all I wanted). I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here. Please save your money and peace of mind by going anywhere else but here.
My sister got her hair done yesterday, and specifically asked Paris if she knew how to cut curly hair and she said she did but clearly didn’t because my sister has been crying for hours now because how bad her hair looks. Will definitely be back tomorrow for a refund. Do not recommend.
Please don't allow Daisy to cut your hair. My husband had the most horrible hair cut that was meant to be a fade. Even the manager (Amanda) saw the pictures and agreed for a refund after finally getting a hold of her. I also called Amanda and left a detailed voicemail the night before that I would be stopping by in the morning. When I asked an employee what time she should be in, I couldn't even be told what time. It was like there was no consistency. "She comes in around 10...sometimes 1030 or 1045." I left the store the first time at 11:05 for my son's appointment. She had customers with appointments waiting and an employee said shes not answering her calls & told me to come back. I had to come back a second time out of my way to be told in the end I could not receive the tip back. I was shocked because of how horrible the cut was and that Daisy would still keep the tip. I stepped back around the corner while she's folding towels and asked "Do you really believe you deserve to keep it?" "After the hair cut you gave my husband?" Amanda did say she would speak to Daisy about the hair cut after she saw the pictures and said she may
have not felt comfortable doing fades. Well if that's the case then she should have said something to save everyone a hassle. On a side note Daisy decided to have a smug look on her face after asking for the tip back instead of seeming to be apologetic like she was when I called the night before. I was professional from the start. Paris stepped in to give me the tip since Daisy wouldn't do anything. It's a shame that someone else had to pay for her mistakes. Amanda seemed apologetic but not by any means professional showing up late, not answering calls. I've learned that poor management trickles down and distributes to employees like Daisy. Please save your time, money, hair & stay away
I came here and Paris messed up my hair so bad. Like so so so bad. I asked her to not cut my length off, and she did the exact opposite. She worked too fast with my hair. She didn’t take her time and she just grabbed chunks of my hair and cut them off saying it was layers but one side has these choppy pieces while the other side doesn’t. She wasn’t considerate at all. I don’t understand how they could let someone like that work there I’m so upset. Like my hair was my confidence and now it’s an insecurity. Please do NOT go here. EVER. She just sprayed this product in my hair ( didn’t even get the other side) she didn’t even think about my shrinkage (it shrunk up rlly bad). And when she “defused” it, the defuser kept falling off and onto the floor. It’s very unprofessional. She just cut chunks and chunks of my hair and didn’t even look twice to see if it was looking good. I left there so embarrassed. Again, please do not ever go here. I’ve never been so devastated in my life.
From now on this is where I will be taking my daughter. My daughter is special needs and wanted to feel like a princess, they did exactly that. I couldn’t have been prouder of the way they made her feel. One of the BEST customer experiences I have had, also had my hair done as well and I love it!
I had my hair styled here with my entire bridal party and we had a marvelous time. After a trial that was good but not the best, the stylists took great note of what I wanted changed. Thanks to them I looked more beautiful than I could have dreamed on my wedding day.
