Went for breakfast a few days ago July 2019 .
From the outside I was a little unsure with a large tent like structure. However once in side . Clean & tidy . Good value cafe and food tasted ok .
Would def recommend as a classic cafe .

Pretty much as previous visit . Prices obviously had gone up a little .
Service although pleasant was lacking in the communication with the back of house cooks . Everything was written down correctly & charged correctly as per the order but came out wrong or not cooked correctly. 3 of us ordered together but because of the mix up of orders we eat at different times & had drunk our teas etc before breakfast arrived correctly without an offer of a fresh drink . I had bacon / sausage / egg sandwich which was just OK.. the bacon was very fatty and tough .
Not sure if will be a top choice to return too .
Would have been nice to acknowledge they hadn't succeeded on 3 simple orders ...or a free cuppa ..
Was in the area early waiting for some other places to open so stopped off here as it was the only place we could find open before 10am. Had a nice breakfast, both the food and staff did not disappoint. Thanks
Good home cooked food, always fresh and hot. Owners are lovely and always make you feel welcome
My 1st time here today, only had a takeaway. But they are welcoming & friendly. My sausage sandwich was really tasty especially as they used uncut thick bread...a proper doorstop. Even the brew was decent, not gnats pee. Will defo go back as I want to try out the roast dinner. Would recommend.
I am a new resident of hullbridge and I am pleased to say we will now be regulars here! The staff are very friendly and the food is always very fresh and tasty!! The prices are also very reasonable!

The downfall for me was the burger, wasn't an actually burger but just a patty
