Ina, the owner, was amazing and really friendly. She listened to what I wanted to do with my hair and also provided professional recommendations. Took her time to make sure my cut was perfect from every angle. Beautiful and pristine space as well. Opened less than a year ago as an extension/expansion of it's 12 year old barbershop next door.
I don't live in East Village, but my hairstyle is worth the subway ride.
1. The salon is new, clean and stylish. You can feel that owners put their hearts and soles into it.
2. Tatyana has more than a dozen years of experience and does her job on the level I'd expect to get only at high end salon. She fixed imperfections of my layers and made my haircut perfect and easy to style.
3. No one was trying to sell me something extra. I really appreciate it!
I had a fabulous experience at EVB salon. Lyli took my appointment at very short notice and did an excellent, beautiful cut and color. The entire experience was so relaxing, calming and amazing. Ruben was funny!!!
I had the best experience at EVB salon! :) They were very attentive and listened to my hair concerns. They knew exactly what to do. I love my new haircut and my color. I’ve been getting so many compliments. I am so picky when it comes to hair stylists and have been to so many different salons. So I am so happy to have finally found an amazing salon. Not only are they so talented but the girls are so sweet! Definitely recommend!
Lovely service! Great owner and my stylist was timely. I got my roots, haircut, shampoo, and blow out done for an event. Loved how it looked and the wine / overall ambiance of the salon didn’t hurt either!
EVB salon (East Village Beauty Salon) was an incredible experience. The two lovely ladies who assisted me were kind, helpful and took my specific needs into consideration to deliver the exact look I was hoping for! They’re super flexible with hours and rescheduling and were very patient with me.
If you’re looking for an efficient cut in a luxurious setting this is the place! The hair products smelled nice as well. I’ll definitely be back!!

I had the BEST experience here at the salon!!! The stylist here take your time with you, and make you feel special. Also, FREE WINE while you get pampered. If that's not reason enough to come here then you are missing an opportunity of a lifetime to look and feel glamorous!!! I am a surgical resident, working 80 hr weeks and came here on a Friday night to be TRANSFORMED ????????????♀️???????????? PS Ask for Rubin ????
I had a fantastic experience here! Ruben was my hairdresser and he was extremely meticulous. I loved the haircut! Asides from the hairdressing, he was very warm and hilarious. Definitely a wonderful experience overall. Everyone was incredibly kind and even offered wine and water.
