Tiffany was more focused on the tv than giving me a good haircut. I prefer to support local businesses but I won’t go back here
Ripped off my kid.. Charged a minor $35 today for a mediocre haircut!!
The dude who cut my hair was awesome! Super friendly and easy to chat with. Hair cut was super fast, which is perfect because I wear a Mohawk and I've been to some barbers that spend an hour on my hair for it to turn out just like how this dude did it. Also, great prices! I will absolutely be making this barber shop my new go-to!
My husband and I have moved around the world, A LOT...Everywhere we go, we would find ourselves having a bad day after he received a bad hair cut! He is Military, although he hates to have the "high and tight" look. This place was a gem of a find. We were on our way to whole foods which is less than a few blocks away from this barber shop in case you are hungry, and I spotted this Barber shop from the 101. I convinced him to take one more chance on a random shop, since he was in need of a cut. He finally agreed. And He's happy that he did! The atmosphere is guy friendly. The best way to describe it, is that it's Comfortable and laid back! They are awesome! They absolutely know what they are doing, and could tell right away what the previous barber had done wrong. Every time my husband is in town, he goes here, knowing that he isn't going to come out looking crazy. They are great! I completely recommend this place!
Stopped in today on our walk home, Raul was amazing! He was so friendly and patient and gave our 2 year old a lollipop (which he loved). Dad and Otis were both pleased with their cuts and you can’t beat the prices! Thank you Encinitas Barber!
Friendly neighborhood barber shop. I have my favorite barber, my dad has his favorite and my son has his favorite (all different). But if our favorites aren't there we just go with whoever is there because they all do a good job.
Best barbershop in Encinitas. Military friendly and family owned. From Raul's stories to Michael's or Martin's jokes you'll feel like family too. I've been going for over a year, great place!
Martin has been cutting hair for 30 years. This shop will not be here if it was not for him he worked long hours and met a lot of people come. He has stories to tell you about famous people that he has cut in the past. but yet he treats everybody the same. The shop is family-owned from his father to him and now a new owner of his brothers taking over. Martin has two sons that also work at the shop a total of 3 generations and growing. Please stop by and give Encinitas Barbershop the support of the community.

2. Fast service: Many customers appreciated the quick and efficient service they received at the barber shop. This is particularly important for customers with specific hairstyles, such as a Mohawk, as they need barbers who can deliver their desired style without wasting too much time.
3. Affordable prices: Customers praised the shop for its great prices. This is an important factor for many people, as it allows them to receive quality haircuts without breaking the bank. Affordable prices also contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Good reputation for military haircuts: One customer mentioned that Encinitas Barber Shop was a gem of a find for military personnel who dislike the typical "high and tight" look. This suggests that the shop has a good reputation for providing military-friendly haircuts that meet the preferences of such customers.

6. Variety of barbers: Another positive comment highlighted the fact that the shop has multiple barbers, each with their own clientele. This indicates that customers can choose a specific barber they prefer, but even if their favorite is not available, they feel comfortable with other barbers who can provide a good haircut.
Weaknesses:
1. Lack of focus and attention during haircuts: One customer mentioned that a barber named Tiffany seemed more focused on the television than giving them a good haircut. This highlights a weakness in the quality of service provided by this particular individual.
2. Inconsistent quality: A customer complained that their child was charged $35 for a mediocre haircut. This suggests that there may be issues with the consistency of the haircuts provided, with some customers experiencing subpar results compared to others.
3. Limited availability of favorite barbers: Although the shop has a variety of barbers, there is a mention of customers having their own favorites. However, if their preferred barber is not available, they have to settle for another. This could be seen as a weakness, as customers may not always receive the exact service they desire.
Overall, Encinitas Barber Shop has strengths in terms of its friendly and personable barbers, fast service, affordable prices, reputation for military haircuts, long-standing establishment, and variety of barbers.
