TLDR: They gave me gel nail polish instead of regular and wouldn't help me get it off when I called them about the mistake. Also, manicurists were watching their phones while working on customers! Very unprofessional! I will not be coming here again.

My mother and I came in on a Saturday, and there were only a handful of customers - if that. That should have been my first clue. My manicurist barely spoke to me, which was honestly fine. I can be an introvert and was not in a talkative mood. I didn't even mind that he was watching a video on his phone while working on my nails. What I do mind is that I came in wanting to get regular nail polish, not gel.

He never asked me which I wanted, and I didn't know which nail polish bottle was which (yes, I probably should have asked - but it was his job to ask me, not the other way around, and I assumed that unless the customer requests the more expensive gel nails, they get regular). He layered the nail polish thicker on some nails than others, meaning that my nails weren't all the same color. He didn't shape my nails the same on both hands. And on one of my nails, the nail polish was so thick that there was a bulge of nail polish right near the tip and very noticeable - to me, at least. (Pictured)

After a week, I was done and wanted them off. I still assumed the polish was regular and thought it just hadn't chipped because he layered it so thick. Well, one ruined glass nail file and bottle of (not 100% acetone) nail polish later, I finally freed one of my nails from (most of) the polish and had to admit that this was not regular nail polish. I did not want to go buy acetone and spend several hours trying to get my nail polish off, so I called and explained and asked if they could help me get it off. They lady who answered told me I needed to buff off the shine, soak them in acetone, and use a cuticle pusher to scrape them off. That was all great advice, but there was no apology, no offer to have me come in so they could take the polish off for me (which I would have been happy to pay for!), nothing. So now, I'm going to go buy my own acetone and try to get these nails off. But you can bet I'll never get my nails done here again!

I have been going to this nail salon for over 10 years and I always leave happy! Janet, my nail technician, is amazing and I wouldn't trade her for anyone! Love Janet, Amy, Tim, Lucy, and Velvet! If you are looking for a place to get your nails done, I highly recommend!

I’ve been using Elegant nails for close to two years. I’ve gone to many other places locally and only ended up with popping off acrylics or badly damaged natural nails, and I’ve never had a single acrylic lift or any damage to my nails with this business. They’ve also done my daughters and my sisters nails multiple times and every time they’ve been beautifully done. Sandy is my go to his work is perfect and Tim and Daisy are amazing as well so kind and personable. Thankful to have found a place close by that I know will always treat me kindly, and ready when I walk in for my appointment at very reasonable prices especially for the quality of the work.

Today, I had to make a review, because I witnessed him do the upmost professional service. 2 ladies were visiting from out of town and unfortunately ended up with technicians having a bad day. Well instead of making a seen, he gave them their services for free. That warmed my heart! I love Tim always!

I always have the best experience here. I have a standing appointment every two weeks. You need an appointment usually to get in here. They are always friendly. Anyone that has something bad to say, obviously hasn't spoken with the owner Tim. Tim will always fix any problem.

They're fabulous and affordable! I love the environment. Staff is friendly and down to earth. They're very tender hearted to their elderly and young. It's sweet to listen to them and watch them interact. Place is clean and sanitized. I love them!

Daisy and Sandy are my favorite artists, love the attention to details and friendly service..

Tim and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I've been going to this salon for years. I love that they have added a children's pedicure option as well. My daughter absolutely loved getting her nails and toes done for her 5th birthday. Tim also went out of his way to help my 88 year old grandfather with his feet.
