A mexican in a small city in South Carolina. The food was delicious and cheap at the same time. The waitress was very nice also. We sat outside because no availability inside. However, there were a couple who were smoking next to us and ask if we can moved indoor. She understood and helped us moved indoor. Also, come with free chips and salsa.

Perfectly ok decor and atmosphere. The servers were friendly, if a bit slow (we were there for a late lunch, on a Sunday.) Excellent menu - a huge variety of authentic dishes, chicken, pork, & beef. Plenty of combos to choose from, so you get everything you want and nothing you don't. I liked the mexican food explanation in the menu - very helpful. Hot, crunchy chips came out immediately, with both mild & hot salsa. Food was hot & flavorful. Note: no margaritas served on Sundays.

Good food good service! Needed a little more spice to be perfect. But it was good!

They seemed annoyed and began cleaning as if they were closed, while half the restaurant was packed with people? Sopapillas are not authentic and were almost burnt. The food would have been more enjoyable if the staff had not wanted us out before the posted hours for closing.

El San Jose Mexican Restaurant staff was pleasant and professional during my visit along with my coworkers. The food was delicious and also your order may even look like a feast when the waitresses bring your food to your table. They are most definitely not stingy on the amount of food they prepare for you. Asking for a carryout plate is going to be needed. That's just how much food they provide given what your order is. The waiters was so awesome with keeping the lobby and dining area clean and sanitized. Me and my coworkers really enjoyed our lunch visit at El San Jose Mexican Restaurant. We absolutely love this place ! We drive 20min from another town when we could drive a little less to go to other Mexican restaurants in Florence but the food is amazing the draft beer is ice cold and the price is cheaper than eating at Taco Bell for my family (including the beer!! Can't beat this place.

Food is always great and friendly staff. Very clean and affordable with a ride variety of selections to choose from on the menu.
