Best PlaceJuice Reviews

An amazing paella in a such cozy place. Definitely, you should try the olives, nothing like in the supermarket and the fresh calamari. About the classic paella, was so tasty. The restaurant is a bit hidden, but google maps will help you.
Beautiful authentic Spanish restaurant with a proud Mancunian presence tucked away down a quiet back street. The food was amazing & the staff were great. If you want a true taste of Spain whilst in Manchester this is definitely the place to go!
Amazing little place hidden in deansgate. Saw a few reviews that said it was good and wanted to check it out, so glad we did! It really is a hidden gem, the restaurant is downstairs, and has lots of seating but you can book in advance, food was really tasty and such good variety. We got 7 dishes and that was too much, i think 3 each is perfect but a few extra wouldn't hurt if youre hungry. Prices were really cheap for the portion sizes. Service was great and staff were very friendly, will definitely be coming back!
Classic tapas restaurant, long established and well known in Manchester despite being quite hidden away on a side street. Wide variety of dishes available and options suitable for veggies. (Not sure about vegan options.) Busy but friendly staff.
Abstenerse absolutamente.
A real hidden gem. Great service very friendly. Great prices and authentic food. We have gallician style octopus in he canary Islands and have never found it done well in the UK but these guys nailed it. Very tasty and fresh. Highly recommended especially washed down with sangria.
incredible experience! place is a little hard to find but you feel like you’re in spain…the atmosphere and food are extremely authentic vibes are just 10/10. highly recommend the pan catala and ham croquetas! special shoutout to the lovely waitress who told us we ordered too much at first and told us to cut down…she was certainly right! very motherly vibes she was amazing

The restaurant being described as a hidden gem is another positive attribute. According to the reviewers, the restaurant is tucked away on a quiet back street, providing an authentic and intimate dining experience. The presence of a proud Mancunian influence adds to the overall charm and uniqueness of the establishment.
The affordability of the food is also a strength, as customers have noted that the portion sizes are generous for the price. This makes dining at El Rincon de Rafa an economical choice for those looking to enjoy traditional Spanish cuisine.
Despite its strengths, there are also weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One negative review highlights the disappointment with the food. The reviewer criticizes the tortilla de patatas, describing it as infamously terrible and claiming it does not resemble a traditional tortilla. The pimientos rojos (red peppers) are also criticized for appearing to be simply taken out of a can and served as is. The pan catalán is said to be different from what is typically served in Spain, lacking the traditional tomato, oil, and salt topping. The reviewer suggests that the food overall did not meet their expectations and advises others to avoid dining at the restaurant.
Another point of weakness mentioned in the negative review is the location and ambiance of the restaurant. The reviewer dubs the ambiance as lacking in quality and expresses disappointment in the physical appearance of the place. However, other positive reviews contradict this opinion, praising the authentic vibes and atmosphere of El Rincon de Rafa, stating that it makes you feel like you're in Spain.
In summary, the strengths of El Rincon de Rafa include its delicious paella, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.
