This was my first time going to Ed’s Easy Diner in Lakeside and it was a really good experience.

The choice was made as it was the least busy in the food court.

The food choices are varied offering all the American meat options and sides and came fairly promptly after ordering.

The refillable drinks machine is hilarious. Take a Pepsi, Tango, 7up and the machine will offer you bonus vanilla, lime and 2 other random flavours.

Our server was awesome. Great banter and excellent service. Would definitely go again.

Came here for a late-ish lunch as I had a Free Milkshake & Burger to use as I'm a member of the Ed's App.

Was quiet but service was really prompt.

Track & Trace was easy to do, food arrived in excellent time & was very tasty ????????????.

The service was very poor and slow and it wasn't even that busy. We waited 45 minutes for our starters.

We order the wings and the first wing was fine and tasty but the next had blood in it and was red. We sent them back. We then got a new set of wings and again there was blood and it was red to the bone.

The waitress asked the chef and he told her it's blood vessels. For me if it was blood vessels then surely the meat and bone wouldn't be red? Even if it is blood vessels then wouldn't that suggest the meat is of poor quality? Also if it is blood vessels then surely it wouldn't be in every piece?

The mains meal was fine and tasty. After our meal it took ages to get the bill.

Not as American as expected. Unfortunately the day I ate there was their last day at that location. Good Food ton

Not a bad place to enjoy a burger in Lakeside. Staff are friendly, although I was confused about ordering at the bar as other Ed’s have full table service. The food was good quality, although they misunderstood our request for extra cheese sauce for the fries and added it to our burger instead.

Visited Ed’s Diner in Brighton with my partner for breakfast. We experienced excellent customer service, food came out very quickly and the food itself was cooked to perfection. Would definitely come again and would recommend this restaurant

Milkshakes tasted amazing! Service was excellent, our server Jonathan was extremely friendly. Would definitely come back here again!

Very very disappointing. I ordered the chicken bacon burger and when it came out it looked depressing. The portion size for the over the top price was shocking.

This is now a proper chain, low quality product but it has kept the independent prices. For 2 burgers and sides it came to £30.

The atmosphere was poor and it just felt like a cheap chain restaurant.

We asked for a full refund and we got it, which is the only reason it has 1 star (and because you cant give zero stars out of 5).

On a plus side the oreo milkshake was nice.
