Leckeres amerikanisches Essen. Die Milchshakes sind grandios. Leider mussten wir etwas lange auf das Essen warten.
Sunday. Very competent seating service and table service. Excellent food. Forgot to order a shake but lucky as on second thoughts didn't have room! Great root bear ! All food tried great except coleslaw different taste and less crunchy. May not appeal to all. Juicy burgers ! No sticky sauce on ribs but that can be a plus for some !
High quality burgers and hot dogs with a good variety of beef and chicken, in proper American style all very juicy and delicious. The mains come with one free side (coleslaw, waffle or seasoned fries, onion rings, mac n' cheese, salad) and you can pick one additional side with £2. The other firm favourite world famous shakes.

We just went in for milkshakes so the rating is based on the milkshake alone.
It was an incredible milkshake like the one you would get in a real American Diner in the US.
The thickness and flavor were superb.
Not many places in the UK manage to serve a milkshake like this, in fact, only three counting Ed's itself (among the ones I have tried).
Just superb.
Little tip, try the mixed flavors of chocolate and peanut butter, best combination ever.
Two adults and six kids. Served by a helpful friendly waiter called Kieran. The kids meals are good value and the fact that Kieran advised the chips can be a bit spicy and suggested unseasoned chips for the kids meals. Clearly a winner for us with young.kids. Plus the £1.50 per kid upsell for milkshakes helped as they all had sensible sized milkshakes without blowing the budget. £51 for six of us I think is fair value. No sweets.
Second visit for myself,
Thr first time food was ok took time to arrive even doe wasn't busy, one of the waitress had a stuck up face wasn't very pleasant in serving nor when having to ask for something,
Second time it was bit of wait even doe there was empty seats it still ended with having to wait outside to be seated,
Some nice staff , you can find yourself at times asking waitress for orders that should have been here by now , didn't feel like they shown you around on where to get sauce or how the menu works as for first time visit you might just need to explain or shown where you can find bits.
Will come back as kids like to come here , but food was OK can be better with more options
On a day trip to Southampton, my daughter and I stopped here for a late lunch. Our waiter was a delight. The burgers were excellent, the seasoned fries lovely, the milkshake - malted chocolate heaven. I would happily eat there again. Before he gave us the menu, our waiter asked if we had any food .
My favourite restaurant anyday, it's a shame there isn't one local to me so I could visit more! But I guess Southampton isn't to far from Bournemouth it's just rare I get change to go up there. The one in Southampton provides great customer service, staff are always friendly the food is delicious no matter what I seem to order. The milkshakes are very good size not like these other places that charge you £6-£7 and you end up getting a small glass and with 2 sips , these give you a metal Jug of some sort and you actually get a decent amount of milkshake that you struggle to get through because there that much but it's a good thing. I also thought their prices were reasonable compared to elsewhere. Very happy would go again
