Not worth the usual drive we used to make from Gipton. A change in staff/fryer resulting in very low quality food.

Too late to return to shop once home, but the food really should have been good enough to write a good review instead of this one star review.
The staff, in particular one black lady is extremely rude, disrespectful, arrogant and looks at you in an uncomfortable way when you walk in the shop. This isn’t the first time she has done this, multi customers were complaining when I went in to return this food I got.
The pictures below show what we got, the portion size says it all and the fish was broken in pieces. This is a disgrace. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

I was hopeful when ordering from this chippy. I paid for homemade tartare sauce but received shop-bought garlic mayo which I dislike. The fish and chips arrived cold and overly greasy unfortunately, so disappointed! I really wanted to enjoy my fish & chip lunch but couldn’t as it wasn’t appetising in any way and sadly I cannot rely on this place for a high quality and accurate order.
Excellent customer service. Not the greatest fish cake and chips I've had, but at £4.55 it was excellent value and extra tasty with the curry sauce. I appreciate they're still using plastic forks as I can't stand the wooden ones, and boxes being recyclable evened out the use of plastic for me!
Went on Wednesday. Experienced a pleasant service from the "black woman" I've been coming here for years and she always knows my order, foods always fresh, always polite and has a laugh. I think she's over worked I often notice she is on her own and can see there's a queue. The justeat machines bleeping and customers complaining when it's out of her control. Manager needs to sort out more staff!!

If you are it's absolutely disgusting. I couldn't eat my meal. I am quite angry as prices these days are through the roof but you'd expect a well known eatery to give their 100% waste of my money and won't be recommended ????
Had a fish from here. Unfortunately it smelt suspect. Although tasted ok. Later in the evening I realised it shouldn’t have been eaten
