Been going to Dragon & Peacock for many years, but recently they have deterioted, twice two orders have not been correct, first one was missing part of order, and the second time they gave me a meat dish instead of a prawn dish, when ring them to inform they became arguementive and rude, stating its what I ordered, consindering I order the same each time and request no beanshoot or onions, for which on the last two orders had that in it, they refused to give what I ordered and didnt want to give my money back for the missing order or the wrong dish, they where laughing at me over the phone, highly unprofessional, seek another restaurant.

Was a lovely Chinese tasted lovely and not chewy or greasy, would defiantly eat there again????

Had good and bad.

Chicken in black bean sauce - sauce had been watered down and veg were raw. Recooked it in my own sauce the next day.

Duck and chow mein were ok/good

I used to drive from Eastbourne to come hear so on way home decide would pick up some take out, it was the worst I have had in a long time the veg dish that I ordered contained meat so was not edible for me! My partners chicken balls could have been rung out with the amount of grease the chips must have been days old hard and stone cold will never be coming back what a waste of time and money really gone right down hill!

This is my second review of The Dragon and Peacock Chinese Take Away. As far as I am concerned nothing has changed…..this is an excellent take away. The portions are very generous and the food is excellent. We tend to go for set meals but the very friendly staff are very happy to swap out one dish for another. The set menus can easily feed more people than they state. They do a very busy home delivery service so they must be doing something right. I visit family here about every 6 weeks and a Dragon and Peacock take away has become a very firm favourite. If you haven’t tried it please give it a go…..there might be cheaper take aways in the area but I am yet to find a better one

Poor food very dry,not freshly cooked ATALL and all re_ heated. The food has no flavours and very bland. Very pricey a waste of money would not recommend atall so disappointed

We're new to the area and decided to ring up and order takeaway on the spur of the moment. Thought it very reasonably priced, food was good and delivered piping hot 10 minutes earlier than expected. Happy customers and will order again next time I can't be bothered cooking!
