The cakes served here are too good to resist. We went back to back twice during our stay at Windermere. Great coffee too and the staff are super friendly and polite. Cakes were served with clotted cream which was a new experience for us and tasted amazing, lemon drizzle cake is to die for. A must visit cafe in Windermere if you love cakes and coffee ????

Good music, tasty cakes and nice coffee. We went with our 10 month old and they were very accommodating. A few high chairs for the little one and comfy seats for the big ones.

Fantastic! Proper coffee and home made cakes fresh from the oven. The owners were lovely with our children and made them both mini milkshakes. Perfect!

We went here after reading positive reviews for vegan food but when we arrived we found only one vegan item on the menu. Fortunately however, it turned out that the vegan platter was fantastic!

A selection of different breads are served with some quality olive oil and balsamic dips, sweet sun dried tomatoes, herby olives, and a pot of humous. The only thing that let this down was the humous, which was a little bland, but everything else was fantastic.

We also had a couple of coffees which again, we both great.

The man that served us was was friendly and the outdoor seating was a nice place to people watch as we ate and drank. The cover over the seating was particularly appreciated as it kept us dry when it rained a little.

Had this place recommended to us on a recent visit to Grasmere, and what a lovely find! I love the homely feel they've created with oversized, characterful chairs and wooden floors. The lovely atmosphere was enhanced by the sound of blues tracks playing in the background; one of my favourite genres of music.

We shared a carrot cake, which was delicious and I had a coffee/hot chocolate with "a cheeky shot of Baileys", which was really delicious - I would highly recommend! The staff were really friendly and welcoming and everywhere was very clean.

When we're next in the area, we'll definitely visit again. It's a lovely space and I wished we lived closer.

One of the best cafes weve been too and the coffee's served are just simply great.

Bacon roll, generous portion of carrot cake and ham and tuna sandwich . Enjoyed our brunch here. My daughter loved the sandwich and the babyccino.

Warm and friendly staff. Safe and covid compliant too. Thank you for the excellent service .

We will definitely visit again when we are up north again.

Fantastic coffee from a friendly, family run business.

When travelling away from home, we are always searching for the perfect cup of coffee. It can be challenging to find speciality coffee prepared and presented nicely. The first visit on our holiday to Windermere at Dr Brews was fantastic. So good in fact that we had to return! Our Piccolo and Flat White were exceptional. The espresso was extracted perfectly and the blend of coffee used was really tasty.

Thank you for providing a warm and genuine welcome, matched with splendid beverages.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, great coffee and exceptional cake and service. The lemon drizzle was the best ever. Very chilled atmosphere and music. A must for our next visit to the Lakes
