I am 8 months pregnant and decided to go to this salon to get a nice pedicure before my due date. I went to facebook to make sure they followed cdc guidelines and saw where they did. So, I decided to make my way up there. I went inside & there were people everywhere. I was told to sit directly beside someone at the manicure station & politely declined. I then was told to sit directly beside someone at the pedicure station and declined again because it was NOT 6 ft apart. I am pregnant and very cautious about going places due to the virus. Before I got my pedicure, I picked out two colors. White and white glitter. Everything was fine until the lady started putting the wrong glitter on my toenails. I quickly stopped her and said “hey i don’t think that’s the glitter I picked out”. she then replied and said they were out of the glitter I wanted. BUT decided not to tell me this until she was applying the glitter. It was not cute. I told her to take that glitter off and she did but then tried to add several other types of glitter. I repeatedly told her i only wanted that one type of glitter because it’s going on top of plain white toenails. she then said “no glitter, okay!” NO I DID NOT SAY THAT. JESUS. so I politely asked for a polish change because I didn’t want the plain white and she literally said NO. lol I was so frustrated at this point. She starts talking to her co worker and he pops up with the glitter polish i wanted...? It was very strange. I paid 47 dollars total for my pedicure. It was gel polish. I was rushed and felt very uncomfortable throughout my entire visit. I would not recommend this salon to anyone and will not be going there again.
Been going here for a couple of months other than the wait time it’s been good except today. Mike told me one price while telling me I needed tips on 3 nails then charged me for a full set when I went to pay. You got me this time, but I will find another place. Kindly shady.
My granddaughter wanted to get her nails filled in. I got charged 57.00 because 2 tips had to be replaced. So again somebody lied about the price it changes every time. Wish your service fit your high price. So I will drive to Moore county where at least the price doesn’t go up after the work is done.
I'll admit... it's been awhile (bout 5 years) since I've been here... only because of a past experience; but I must say... today's service was spectacular! They welcomed me when I came in and I waited abt 10 minutes to be serviced. She took her time, made conversation, and worked! She fixed my previously broken nail (not done by them) and cut them down. When deciding my color, I went with two originally and when she started painting... I immediately noticed I didnt like how that color looked against my skin so I asked to change it. Without hesitation... she complied and my nails turned out beautiful!! Very pleased and will definitely be back!
I’m due to have a baby next week so I came in hoping to have a good foot rub & freshen up my toe nail polish and the woman barely massaged me and did a terrible job on my toe nail polish. When I left and realized how bad it was I almost went back to have them fix it but figured they’d probably have an attitude as they were not that friendly in my opinion. They also did not use hot towels like the last time I went and just completely skimped me like I didn’t know better.
I will never go back and I do not recommend. A complete waste of $60.
Amazing Service I got my nails and toes done. Gel and DND fiery Red which I love
Did not get what I asked for, she never used a clean file OR buffer on my nails. She didn’t shape them and the tail tips didn’t fit. The paint isn’t smooth. The nails are crooked. Only reason I went was because I needed my nails done for a funeral and my normal salon was booked. WILL NEVER go back. They sucked
Cost to much and nails color pops off and don't last I went to the ville got nails done month ago and look less $.
I would not recommend this nail salon. I came in for a pedicure with my family. Was not staff enough, waited 45 minutes for a pedicure I could have done. No massage,no hot towel, scraped just a bit of my foot. Did not file my nails just clipped. For $45 I expected better.

Quick Facts About DKD Nails

DKD Nails place, based on the comments given, has several strengths and weaknesses that can be analyzed.
One strength of DKD Nails place is that they have claimed to follow CDC guidelines on their Facebook page. This shows that they prioritize health and safety, which is essential, especially during the current pandemic. This can attract customers who are cautious about visiting public places and want to ensure that proper protocols are being followed. Additionally, some customers mentioned that they had good experiences in the past, implying that the salon has provided satisfactory services to some individuals.
However, there are several weaknesses that have been pointed out by the comments. Firstly, there is a significant issue with communication and customer service at the salon. One pregnant customer expressed concerns about the lack of social distancing measures being enforced, which is crucial during this time. This portrays a disregard for safety guidelines and can make customers uncomfortable.
Another complaint brought up by multiple customers is the inconsistency in pricing. Some customers mentioned being charged more than what was initially quoted or experiencing unexpected price increases after the service was completed. This inconsistency can create confusion and a lack of trust between the salon and its customers.
Moreover, there have been complaints about the quality of service provided. One customer mentioned that the nail technician did not use clean files or buffers, did not shape their nails properly, and had crooked nails. This raises questions about the professionalism and skill of the technicians at DKD Nails place. Additionally, another customer expressed dissatisfaction with the nail polish, stating that it did not last and quickly chipped. This suggests that the salon may not be using high-quality products or providing a long-lasting finish.

One customer mentioned that they did not receive a foot massage or hot towel treatment, which are typically expected during a pedicure service. Other customers mentioned that they felt rushed or were not given the opportunity to change their nail polish color. These details are important to many customers and contribute to the overall satisfaction of their salon experience.
Furthermore, there are comments regarding the wait times experienced at DKD Nails place. Some customers expressed frustration with extended waiting periods, which can be inconvenient and dissatisfying, especially if they could have done the service themselves in that time.
In conclusion, DKD Nails place has some strengths, such as the claim to follow CDC guidelines and positive past experiences by some customers. However, the salon has several weaknesses that impact its overall reputation and customer experience. These weaknesses include a lack of adherence to social distancing measures, inconsistent pricing, poor communication and customer service, low-quality service and products, inadequate amenities, and excessive wait times. Addressing these weaknesses can help improve the overall satisfaction and reputation of DKD Nails place.
